>when you drank a bit too much sodia
I want Yuri to raw me OwO
dead game and dead series.
Man I just want to bareback Patty until she can only taste mayonnaise for a week.
Is this game very long?
I want to get stabbed by Sodia!
I was planning on starting this game after beating xenoblade 2. Would you say both games are similar in length? I know they are jrpgs but yeah
vesperia is much shorter.
Good to know
you can beat it in about 3.5 hours, i'm not talking about speedruns, just going through the entire thing quickly and skipping all of the cutscenes and in-game scenes. but doing all the side shit will take you well over 100 hours.
>i'm not talking about speedruns
Indeed, because not even speedrunners can beat the game in 3.5 hours unless it's on NG+. The fastest run on speedrun.com for regular NG is 4 hours. What you're suggesting is inhuman, if not impossible.
i beat it in 3.5 hours on new game plus. that's what i meant. it's a 3.5 hour game. i wasn't even trying to go fast, i just skipped all the cutscenes and side quests.
pure cinnamon roll too good for this world
I still don't believe you. However, instead of just theorizing why you might be wrong, I am going to start a NG+ with every possible bonus and do exactly what you did, I'll even equip the fell arms and spam holy bottles, just to see if you're exaggerating.
I shall see you in however long that takes.
that's literally exactly what i did, i just used holy bottles the entire time after getting the 99 items in the grade shop. i still have over 174 hours in the game.
i also didn't open a single chest. and i got lost in a few of the dungeons a couple times. i'm pretty sure i could have shaved some more time off of it.
Playing this for the first time, actually. Estelle is adorable.
>MFW her Project X Zone 2 friendship with Lucina will never be canon
You probably won't feel that way by act 2. Not that I think you're wrong
You've got 3 hours buddy. Clocks ticking.
At Caer Bocram, 40 minutes in.
>it's a 3.5 hour game
>i just used holy bottles the entire time after getting the 99 items in the grade shop
So first you finished the game, then used NG+ unlocks to re-finish the game. It's not "a 3.5 hour game", it's "a 3.5 hour plus whatever time it takes you to clear it the first time game".
>i beat it in 3.5 hours on new game plus
>new game plus
>3.5 hour game
Can you please stop being retarded
About an hour and 15 minutes in, I just made it to act 2. File 3 is the one that I started NG+ from and file 6 is the one I'm currently playing on. Knowing how much longer act 2 is, I'm not so sure about this one.
Do it user!
My fucking game crashed right after killing the Outbreaker. Amazing how I can go 30 hours without crashing, but 2 hours into a fresh run and this happens. My last save was in the Weasand of Cados so I'm not giving up
Damn it, I will keep this thread bumped until I see this thing through to its end. Act 2 is way too fucking long
It's been 3.5 hours.
Have you not read anything? My game crashed and I lost like 20 minutes of progress. I'm going off of game time, regardless.
>Have you not read anything?
Nope.
Exactly 3 hours to get from the beginning to act 3. Home stretch.
Thanks, ace
It's fine user.
>you beat beat it in 3.5 hours
>lol but only if you're in ng+ after grinding grade for hours in you regular game
The guy was clearly asking for a first playthrough you dumbo.
what makes estelle so sexual?
You like naive girls.
Listen, Estelle is great and all, but Rita is my lifeblood. That's why it's great that they can be reasonably shipped together.
finally convinced my brother to play through a tales game with me, so we're playing through ng+ on this one. He hates Karol (understandable) and Rita is his fuckin' spirit animal, lol.
He's actually havin' a good time, which is pleasantly surprising to me, seeing as he's mostly a CRPG kinda guy.
He likes playing Patty the most. Critical moment is too much fun. He picks up Raven, Rita, or best doggo when she's not available.
We're gonna go through Graces f afterwards because of how much I've gushed about the combat in that one, so I'm fuckin' excited.
The only reasonable ship for Rita is Repede
I'm just glad this game is finally getting love, seems like it was overshadowed by other tales games up until it's recent steam release
It's mostly the fact that discussion of it would inevitably be overtaken by complaining about the PS3 version not being released in the west.
Aogami you need to go
And make more Misty art pls
When does this get good?
Every battle is just spam attack -> attack -> attack -> arte
Is that a DLC custom? I REALLY don't like her story outfit.
I'm a bit uncertain on buying this, I played zesteria and dropped it almost immediately. Is this somewhat better? Should I drop p5 for this?
3 and a half hours MY ASS
That's 3 hours and 41 minutes
Mind you, that was doing everything mentioned in the original conditions. Fell arms carried over, all skills, artes, 10xEXP, basically supercharged NG+, and I STILL had to rush like hell just to get a time like this.
And that's not all; it was ungodly, horrendously boring. 20-minute, Abyss-tier stretches of nothing but just fucking walking and backtracking, dodging every single encounter that could possibly break up the monotony, and when there was a fight, it ended the moment Yuri even sneezed on the boss. It's just not even remotely a fun way to play the game, which is why I call bullshit on the claim that he "wasn't even trying to go fast," because no sane human being would ever want to play the game this way unless they were trying to speedrun it. No human being COULD play the game this way and finish it in less than 3:30 unless they were speedrunning it.
What a stupid idea this was
Her hair, adorable voice
Make her seduce the guard in Heliord and you'll get it at the beginning of act 3
there's an event where you seduce a guard in the second third of the game. you come back to that place in part three and the shop guy you got it from will give you the costume permanently then. There's also one for Judith and one for Karol.
Welcome back user
Thinking about buying this game, any advice on how to not suck at combat?
free run is a great way to dodge shit, and if you're quick, you can sneak in a free run attack after your normal attack string before you combo into artes.
