I almost never buy games on release, especially not full retail games. I'm getting Deluxe Edition one release day with a friend of mine because I'm excited for DMC5 and am sure it will be a great game.
I haven't done this since Dragonball FighterZ, and before that I couldn't even recall the last time I got a full-price retail game on release. I think it was back in 2012.
