Shadow of the Colossus. Never had a PS2 growing up and didn't really bother checking up on PCSX2 in the last few years (it used to be shit). Felt like trying to emulate the PS2 yesterday, have been playing SotC since.
This is a game I've been waiting more than 10 years to play. I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but holy shit it has far surpassed them.
Open world is usually shit, but this game proves that does not have to always be the case

Devil Engine. Really fun. It's the right kind of difficult that makes you want to keep trying. Plus even when you run out of continues, the points you accumulate go towards unlocking all kinds of shit so you don't feel like you wasted your time.

The stones really aren't so bad. The game actually gives you more than you need. Pretty sure at least some are optional and the only ones that are urgent are also generally nearby (most pairing are random, I believe).
