When I was in early highschool I hacked mario kart wii with my friend and we'd make it so we'd always have bobombs and we'd set up ambushes to bomb the other racers but we'd always finish last and people would rematch us because they're were having fun I guess.

I used to cheat all the time in single player games when I was young. It was the only way I could beat them, or even get close to doing so. If a game didn't have cheats, or I didn't have a GameShark or something, I wasn't going to beat it. Period.
People complain that games are too easy nowadays, but I'm glad for it. Because it means I can actually beat them now

I've cheated plenty of times, but only in singleplayer or cooperative games, never wanted to cheat in any multiplayer games.
I think the cheat I've used the absolute most is the 99 lives cheat in Skullmonkeys, just because the later levels start robbing you sometimes.

I did use the occasional cheat code as a kid. Biggest thing that sticks out to me was using a GameShark to hack in Deoxys and Jirachi into my old Sapphire as a kid.
