it will not live up to the hype and be a bug ridden mess on release

STALKER is a bug ridden mess but it's fun even at its most buggy and crashy state.

Stalker had zero hype and is a niche game with a cult following

Not enough interactivity with the world and NPCs

This. Even if this happens journalists and redditfags will still love it and jerok it off because its CDPR

>jerok
I meant jerk, my bad.

shit plot writing

All the orange man bad sjw gender spectrum bullshit being shoved down your throat

1. Sarcasm
It will be a perfect no bug experience
2. Serious
It will be a perfect no bug experience

Does anyone else remember years ago when it was announced, and Yea Forums was getting maximum hype, there was this strong hope that the visual style would not be all rain and neon because cyberpunk is not just about copypasting Blade Runner's aesthetic over and over? Fast forward to now, and trailers are released showing that the sun will be present in the game at times, and Yea Forums is all NOT MUH CYBERPUNK. I wonder if there are some Pollacks who work in art direction right now kicking themselves for having wasted years of their lives making assets in service of a no-longer-majority opinion of a Mongolian spearfishing periodical.

story won't be as good as witcher games

the rpg aspect

Yea Forums always has initial hype threads for literally everything at all and when it turns out to inevitably shit again like 99.999% of the games released since 9/11.

>hardly any enterable buildings
>combat will be shallow and lack a large sandbox
>important NPCs will be unkilllable
>not a lot of room to actually roleplay
>map will be boring
there's a ton that can go wrong and it already has gotten fucked a bit
>forced first person perspective
>art direction is basically GTA 5 100 years later
>3 classes
>generic nuDOOM/Prey 2017 combat
>voiced protagonist

Only 1 persons opinion matters to me so what's your point

Thank you for respect my opinion so much, user.

My hype was for the RPG concept. The pitch sounded a lot like VtMB but now we know there's only three classes and you have to pick your background, and overall it looks to be set up more like Mass Effect. Not that I dislike Mass Effect but it's not what I was expecting.

I haven't been following it too closely so take my opinion with a grain of salt. It's just that I feel like a lot of Yea Forums wanted a game that was true to the "high tech low life" themes of cyberpunk rather than the surface aesthetics of the same old Blade Runner clones we've been seeing for nearly 40 years, and then did an about-face when the Cyberpunk trailer revealed the world would not be 24/7 acid rain pachinko-land metropolis.

You people need to learn Shadowrun is the closest you'll ever have to it being done right.

Keep in mind that Yea Forums is not one person so the people who were the most vocal about the asethetic after the reveal may not have actually been the same people who wanted thtat "high tech low life" theme.

Yeah I get that. The way smaller companies made up of young programmer-types keep tabs on websites like this one though makes me wonder if Yea Forums's initial impressions may have had some small part in the game's visual direction.
