ZX Zenith when?

lack of fan demand.

Almost certainly never ever. If Capcom can barely release a classic MM, and can't be bothered with an X entry, they're never reviving this one

they still do

Nobody bought them.

How's the boss selection in this one?

Gunvolt just doesn't seem to be the same

>Inti Creates hired people working at Level-5 Comcept to work on the game

They didn't sell. Which kind of sucks cause they left ZX Advent on a cliffhanger.

>uses REngine goblinos

>because the level design is meh.
Hey, uninspired level design is Inti Creates's trademark since their inception. You can't just badmouth it like that, this is their best field of work. Anyone can make generic levels, but only Inti Creates could perfect the essence of level design blandness.

ZXA only ends on a cliff hanger if you get all the medals and beat the game on the hardest difficulty

Sidescrollers are boomercore now. Not only does it feels limited moving in only 2 directions, it uses 2D sprites! Yuck!

But why did nobody buy them? Over saturation of the brand? Just unfamiliarity? Shitty marketing?

When it was released, the DS market was so heavily saturated with such great games. Megaman was also at an all time low at that point, with the Starforce series bleeding money too. Then all the shit with Inafune started to happen, MML3 development imploded and Capcom decided to shelve anything that wasn't CLASSIC megaman.

>Over saturation of the brand?
I'd say that was the main reason, there were just too many MM games in the 00's and Zero/ZX was an yearly series.

>You get hired to do the boss design for the next X/ZX game
What's their animal? What's their gimmick?

artstyle was too good

With ZXA they pulled an X7 by not making the title character (Mega Man ZX) actually playable until 2/3rds of the game. Instead you play as either a whiny cunt or a literal who. The CV fanbase has been cucked for ages and will take play as any non-Belmont now, but the MM fanbase wants to play as fucking Mega Man (or Zero) when they pick up a Mega Man game. Then they gave it a cringe-worthy dub and made the focus of the game its shoddy transformation gimmick, just like X7. The gameplay admittedly wasn't as bad as X7 but I think it left a pretty weak impression on people which is why it tanked so hard.

>Why did they stop making _______
Not making money is always the answer

This I would also add that the first ZX was trying to be two games at the same time, it was trying to be a metroidvania but trying to retain the standard levels from previous, needless to say the two don't mix well together, and the horrendous map only made it worse, so the sequel tried to be more like the classic mission style, but still tried to retain some metroidvania elements, which went a little bit better but still not very good and then we have , although i'll say that Ashe was probably one of the best things to come out of the series, after years of protagonists more on the brooding/serious side it was nice to have a character more on the adventurous/lighter side

Lyre Bird, throughout its stage its on occasion making sounds that mimic diffrent enemies their attacks or the player taking damage with the occasional sounds from previous games. Its boss room gimmick is that it begins its attacks off screen similar to storm eagle but it on occasion fakes out the player by playing a different sound cue from one of its other attacks, below 50% health it at times fakes out the player multiple times before coming out to attack.
I'm shit at designing bosses

Panda that uses two swords, but instead of swords it is bamboo sticks, it mixes in a samurai style armor and has a banner on his back

Because they werent good and Inti Creates is full of hacks.

I thought they were good....

And pedos.

Gunvolt 2's bosses are better than 1's. At least, gameplay-wise.

They try making new games, but nobody cares.

Necro Goat. Revives all the enemies you faced in the stage before. Then you have to fight all the subbosses. At the same time
