I'm at the 9S playthrough and the game has gotten really stale and boring. I don't even mind having to replay the same sections, the whole feel of the game, the story, the look, the characters, it's all great, but I can't get myself to go through it anymore because it's so mind-numbingly easy. That is, as long as I stick to normal, because as soon as I turn the difficulty up it's just hurr 1shot. Great difficulty balancing, great design. If this game is just great for its story, why not just watch a movie instead? Convince me to keep playing because I really wanted to love this

Don't do any sidequests for the 9s playthrough you can get through it quicker than you think. The ending will be worth it it's all new stuff

My issue is that the game is just way too easy on normal and the difficulty on hard is just too artificial

Don’t play on normal you retard. Hard is a good balance since you should be able to take 2-3 hits before you die. (Until you’re fully chipped, then you can kill bosses before they finish their dialogue)
