BB version is the most kino souls weapon of all time.

Probably Bloodborne. I really love the DeS version because it's the only one to be a Faith weapon, which seems more correct, but that can't stand up to that kino intro it gets in BB. Plus in DaS, the Moonlight Sword is a pretty good weapon and arguably the best choice for Magic melee damage, but in BB its just hands down the most powerful weapon in the game (if you use the build) mostly because of the moveset.

All wrong. DeS has the second best acquisition of the sword, in DaS 1 its a butterknife, and a one bullet cost for the output is half the cost of the cheapest spell, plus you have theoretically infinite bullets.

I'd have to say DeS, close second goes to DS2 for gameplay reasons. That shit was so ridiculous even after they nerfed the magic infusion. I actually haven't used the BB version yet, haven't gotten around to making an arcane character since I've managed to hold myself away from BB and keep it as a rare October treat. I think I've made a total of 5 characters so far.

BB, easy. Looks the best imo (though the only one that doesnt look great is the 2nd one in the pic). Is a top tier wep with a great moveset untricked, and has a bunch of utility tricked.

4 has best blade and 3 has best hilt

BB L2 spam can get you through any enemy/boss in the game. And the damage in PvP with flat 27% phys gems is ludicrous.
And it looks by far the most kino.

I agree that the grip is more pragmatic but its size just doesn't look as cool on this blade. It's not a bad hilt just not the best imho

Makes me wish DS3 didn't get all autistic about magic but FROM tends to balance in a pendulum so the next Soulsy game that they make will probably be great for wizards.

I'm anticipating a return to King's Field or the like, if DS4 actually happens in the near future it'll probably just be a Bamco abortion. It probably won't be a remake since the Souls games are basically KF remakes already but maybe we'll get a Shadow Tower or something.

Dark Souls has my favorite design, but BB has my favorite introduction to the weapon.

A longsword is more than just a cutting edge, it's also a leaver, a bludgeon, ect, The shape of a longsword is both elegant and effective, no matter what magical space magic materials it's made of the shape of a longsword shouldn't change much because it's still held by a bipedal man with two arms with two hands a the ends of those arms.

I like how it looks like a relic weapon with all that gold engraving. The big handle looks sexy too, with a texture mod so it looks like the des in OPs pic it would look perfect
