>constant ranged knockdowns >two buddies with the same ranged knockdowns >barely ever staggers >every single attack from him or his two lackeys stuns or knocks you down >most attacks home in on you even if you dodge >long range knife charge attack that can do a 180 degree turn on a dime Did they just see that other asshole on the rooftop with two guns and think "that guy was a real pain in the ass that highlighted the flaws in our combat system perfectly, lets make them fight 3 of them at once now!".
Attempted him once, immediately downloaded a trainer afterwards, not gonna get me to waste time and energy on bullshit.
You gotta kill the looks first, dude. But yeah, it's a BS boss fight. Most in Kiwami are pretty terrible. You'll spend more time on the ground then you will actually fighting. Pretty sucky compared to 0 to be honest.
>knockdowns >homing attacks that can only be dodged in rush mode >unbreakable enemy parries (or they break at the end of your combo anyway) >your own attacks barely have any targeting at all >enemies that never stagger and power through all your attacks There's a reason people say Kiwami 1 and 2 have trash combat system. The guns just make it worse because you barely have a lock-on and have to chase around asshole running about while knocking you down from range.
Nathaniel Hill
If you want to know true pain try out that same fight in the original game. Also Tanimuras last boss in Yakuza 4 is a throwback to that fight and is almost more annoying.
Nolan Kelly
Yeah it really saved the game for me Would be a hell of a lot better if the fight had multiple locations
Julian Thomas
>walk for 1 minute >KIRYU-CHAN MITSUKETA MAKE IT STOP
I only won because I realized I still had goemon blade and found out it wrecks those faggot colonels.
Luis Hughes
kiwami gives you enough tools to beat this guy with minimal grinding. staminan royale and bring shitloads to weapons
Brody Watson
Yeah, both the twin brothers and those two black guys at the doctor's office were both terrible. What jerk off thought it was a good idea to have you fight two bosses that can stun and knock you down at the same time?
Noah King
I've played 0 and both Kiwamis Should i play the rest of the series or is it just downhill from there? I know most people don't like the multi-protagonist ones
I only now realized why this fight was so easy to me and people are mad about it. Apparently I was the only one who thought of actually equiping the thing that defends you against bullets.
Honestly I think the most rage inducing part of Kiwami is having to spam X every time you get knocked down and of course it happens every 5 seconds in boss fights. Playing Kiwami 2 after 1 was fantastic.
Levi Peterson
Original 2 is different enough that it's worth playing. 4 is a good time even though some of the plot twists are dumb. Same for 5. 6 is beta for Kiwami 2.
Jordan Barnes
Is Kiwami 2 really that good? Kiwami 1 was pretty disappointing after playing 0
Adam Gonzalez
Honestly hated how these bosses just forced you to be in Rush mode all the time You don't even have enough points to get the quick style switch skills early game Shouldn't have been a skill at all if you ask me
Oliver Jones
4 and 5 are both great, when you see people on here making fun of 4 they're mostly talking about the story, the gameplays good
Ryan Edwards
By good do you mean better than 0? Because if the story sucks I would pass it with the same gameplay again.
Actually 0 has slightly better gameplay than 4 Yakuza is one of the worst series to binge on, wait until you want to play something like it again to pick up the next one
Cooper Cook
Then I'll definitely not play 4. I thought Kiwami was OK, but 0 was one of the best games of all time so it's not a fair comparison with kiwami being so old.
Thomas Reed
>tfw i binged the entire series cutscenes after i played 0 and kiwami Am i autistic?
>showed the intro scene to a friend >wouldn't believe it was the game's actual intro >kept saying that it felt like a fan made amv
Elijah Sullivan
>not using the photon blade >not stunlocking them >not using rush wasn't that hard desu I actually managed to finish Kiwami but dropped the original during the abandoned complex section
is this the matrix like guy on the roof in kiwami? I thought he was easy as fuck compared to the brothers and other bosses.. I even made a post bitching about hte brothers and several anons said "wait til you fit THIS guy" and when it happened I was like "that's it?"
you can just use rush to always stay behind him
Thomas Anderson
>not the original tracks
user...
Charles Miller
>>having trouble with yakuza bosses I'm honestly embarrassed for you
Jeremiah Thomas
>Bosses, even the pointless mook ones, regen health I know you can wittle it down as a heat rebooster but fuck that kind of noise it's the one main downside for me especially since the first bossfight has you weak af so beating him up takes hours, while it also takes him hours to fuck you up too
>fight with Jingu starts >get a few guns from the baddies and snipe him from the other side of the pool >reduce his life quite a bit >fuck you says the game and his hp is 100% again once the true fight starts what an asshole boss all around i didn't mind bosses having regen until higher Majima boss fights, the dude regens like 3 bars in one second the fucking bars dont even stop even when you are trying to switch style
the matrix guy isn't hard is just a fucking chore to follow around and you get fucking shot if you make a single mistake even thoe it doesnt do that much damage it just puts you in X mashing mode, the brothers werent hard either, just use rush bruh and separate the fatass from majima lite. btw when is sega going to fucking fix the grabs being broken on pc? if you get grabbed is instant damage with higher fps
Got Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwmai at about 90% completion. Almost finished with Kiwami's substories, just need the Mesu King ones. I have Kiwami 2 coming in the mail. When are 3, 4, and 5 coming to the west? Are they getting physical releases?
