Uh no. Try actually playing the game. Kai is a shit tier character by every measure, just like the rest of VC4's cast.

There are a ton of graphical issues that put the game below VC1, like SSAO being buggy as fuck and the dev team forgetting to put some heart into the visuals.

Sega added some really ridiculous sections, like they could not use the Girls Frontline IP or else they would be fined, but the fine was one time only. Meaning that after paying a small sum they could use the IP as many times as they pleased.
This is the most prominent one but there were other things like this in the contract.
Hence why the agreement was never reached

Get rid of that blur if you want to make an argument. VC1 was polished as fuck, literally no visual oddities unless I'm mistaken. And the crosshatch effect on shadowed parts looks MUCH better in the first game.

Meanwhile the graphics are buggy and inconsistent as hell in 4 and the only notable improvement is that maps are bigger and the snow looks nice.

Watch this for a few seconds to see AO shutting off when you exit aim mode and the cel-shading shutting off under fog, exasperating the specular map rendering which makes it look awful. 1. The rain falling effect is just an ugly animated texture
2. The rain droplet effect on the ground is just a flat animated texture that's on the same level as your characters feet, so you will see rain droplets landing on the air(like above the river here) or above ground if you're walking down a slope where it will move with you. Embarrassing.
