That's not any different from this Yea Forums, I know trap threads on here will quickly reach over 300 replies if they didn't get removed. Complaining about mods on here will also either get you banned or a warning, it's nothing new

I have been banned twice on 8ch. If I link something that is on topic I get banned for bringing "E-celebs" or even worse I get banned for disagreement. 8ch will not allow debate and will shut it down to prevent any of that. There is a reason why 8ch is half of what it use to be in it's userbase and relies on controversy for attention. While here its safe to debate and discuss things.

That's a drop in the bucket. The main problem is time just moves on. The average user isn't from the same internet as we are. They grew up on facebook, with a smartphone, using twitter, spend most of their time socializing on the net posturing to build a persona, gossiping about ecelebs like they did their friends when they still had some, using their real identity, never having been told not to share personal information and couldn't possibly imagine "the internet is serious business" being a joke.

Just look at how people treat bait, what memes we've got nowadays. They jump at the chance to one-up anyone, drooling at the lowliest bait. Any meme that doesn't start out as a glorified downvote is turned into one within a week. It's not an invasion, user. It's the future, and I hate it, and we're never going back.

Yea Forums doesn't have daily twitter literally who screencap threads and there are no console wars, and definitely no epic vs steam garbageposting.
There is less actual /pol/ and/or falseflag threads as well, and they're mostly related to loli being banned again.
Don't get me wrong they are both awful boards and there is probably very little to help it. The only way to fix these boards would be to heavily moderate them based on "board culture", but that's basically impossible.

Also, saying that Yea Forums is gonna get as bad as Yea Forums implies that Yea Forums can't get any worse.
