Well, if you look up online autistic gambit exploit setups, the game will play itself for sure, but that is literally on you and not the game's fault.

It's pretty fun trying to make your characters as broken as possible

it's unfinished, the characterization is weak, and the combat is unfun. And when I say unfinished I mean the story literally dead ends.

Seems they're adding more tweaks, like being able to License/Job reset, have 3 Gambit sets instead of 1, and actually making New Game+ carry over items. FF12's a weird game, because people are split between the story and the gameplay over which is better.

the game is utter dogshit but it's easily pirated on PC or even via PS2 emulation. You're a dumb fucker.

My personal favourite one is where you exploit the high attack rating of axes and hammers when using the Darkness gambit so you're always hitting high damage consistently. Then set a Enemy Type: Undead -> Curaga gambit above the Enemy: Closest -> Darkness and poof, the dude is a killing machine.

You say that but you actually have to make the game do it for you, its not just you walking around and the character AI being able to quickly cleanse themselves of ailments and do all the right moves at the right times. The thing with the gambits is that all it does it make it so you don't have to go into the menus for certain things in boss fight scenarios. There are espers and bosses that will use life threatening ailments on your party that if not dealt with right away, its a wipe for your party, So you employ gambits so you don't have to micro every single thing.

Even with the best gambits, there are a lot of fights you will still have to go through the menu for items because its not perfect.

Some of the worst character building I've seen in an RPG. Plot sucks too. And so does Vaan. At least the gameplay and soundtrack are nice.
