Why do you delete threads that are having actual discussion regarding sfw video games, without breaking any rules; yet completely ignore obvious and blatant shitposting or consolewar threads? Legitimately curious about this.

One thing I feel anons don't realize about moderators (in just about any website) is that every mod is their own person and thus would respond differently to what they come across. Two mods could come across the same thread and while one think its fine to leave up, the other one deletes it. True there is a set of rules but most of the time the way they are structured leaves a lot of grey area and its up to the mod to decide how to deal with whatever they come across. This just leads to horrible inconsistency when it comes to moderation.
Also in most sites there's no record or history as to which mod distributed this ban or deleted this article/thread. That just leads to abuse of power where any mod could just delete any thread they like or falsely check out report claims/tickets to keep the threads they like from being deleted. I will never forget the day a beastiality thread on v got archived in spite of a mod or jannie being in the thread.
