I'm just completely fucking sick of all of these companies trying to shove smart-phone and tablet interfaces into predominantly PC programs. If they want to make a separate UI like this then fine, but make it OPTIONAL.

It's from some new steam about page, that's just how it looked there. Although it looks like they changed the image to an animation, you can still see the same layout at the beginning.

Thats the point of Big Picture. You use it for in-home streaming or if you have a PC plugged into a TV for couch gaming.
