As someone whose only character action games beforehand were Kingdom Hearts 1 and Spider-Man 2 (GCN), the gameplay of pic related was really REALLY fucking fun. The visual design was cool too and while the characters were cheesy caricatures I found them enjoyable in an ironic way.

If you have a DS, then I heavily recommend TWEWY. The combat can get pretty crazy and the style and aesthetic still hold up incredibly well
