nioh 2 info when
no one cares about dogshit souls copycats
there is only one Miyazaki
Don't compare this hack'n'slash-ish garbage to souls.
Rules for the summoner:
Rule 1) learn the ninja skill Quick Change (preferably multiple times up to 3). Use this skill to add a buff to yourself that if you are killed, it will give let you return from a death blow. If killed please reapply this skill to he safe before doing anything else.
Rule 2) Allow your visitor to buff. I know you are the summoner and not the summoned it's your map your show. Just allow the person you summoned a chance to buff before you run into a fight. There is probably a reason you summoned them in the 1st place, and their help will be so much greater if you allow them to buff.
Rule 3) If there are mutliple bosses that you summoned someone to help dispose of. Do them a favor and just kite 1 of them. If you cant kill them and need the help, all you need to do is shot the boss that the summoned player isn't attacking. Then when that boss looks at you because well you did just shoot them in the face. Run, run, run any way you can. Around in a circle or what ever, just make sure that boss is following you. If they stop and go towards the summoned please feel free to start this process over with a shot to the face.
Rule 4) If it is your 1st time on a mission and there are cut scenes that you haven't seen. Do the summoned a favor and skip them. You can always go back and watch them after the mission is complete. In the in game menu go to Amrita Memories, then The Tale of Nioh. Here you can view every cutscene you have come across. That's right even the mission you just completed. The summoned is there to help you, but in a timely manner. They can only help you on a mission if they have cleared it before. So they have seen these scenes already, and probably dont want to spend extra time they could be helping finishing the mission for you, helping someone else, or progressing their own game.
>diablo like
>souls copycats
Rule 5) if you come across a revenant that has that 1 piece of gear you have been looking for. It is okay for you to summon him and get the help to finish it. It is not ok however to use your summoned player as your personal body guard, as you go around and summon every revenant you come across. Kinda goes back to the cut scene thing. They are there to help you complete the mission in a timely manner. Not there to help you farm every revenant for gear. If you need to farm gear through revenants, then do it solo. If you cant kill any revenant solo, then maybe you need to practice on then to improve your skill. This will help you he a better player all around.
Rules for the summoned:
Rule 1) Please read rule 1 for the summoner, this rule also applies to you.
Rule 2) Unless I missed the phone booths in nioh, there isnt anywhere for you to turn into Superman. So if you are on a map that is tougher or a higher level then you think (you can find out what lvl the mission is in the menu when you join the map just check. It's one thing when you can just go around killing at will, it's another when you think you can do that. Go headfirst into battle, and make everyone on that map mad at you.... just so you can die and leave the summoner to try and handle you mess.
Please fell free to add any rules below that I have missed. Also let me know if any if my rules stink and I can edit it as well. ;-)
>Nioh Thread
stop that
Wow its almost as bad when that one time A Chinese general tactically made a decision to eat 20,000-30,000 civilians.
*dabs*
So I got Nioh awhile back but haven't played it yet
What can I expect? I know there's apparently stances and shit, but I don't know what those do or are
They control how fast and hard you hit.
my name is not important
>Rule 2) Allow your visitor to buff. I know you are the summoner and not the summoned it's your map your show.
This pisses me off so much.
Honestly i hate summoners sometimes because they got cocky, arrogant and charge at stuff without waiting. They also open boss doors and rooms before i can buff, and sometimes they don't even bother buffing. Fuck i wish their was in-game voice chat for shit like this.
>Rule 5) if you come across a revenant that has that 1 piece of gear you have been looking for. It is okay for you to summon him and get the help to finish it. It is not ok however to use your summoned player as your personal body guard, as you go around and summon every revenant you come across.
Holy fuck THIS as well.
If i see a player summon more than revenant i just up and leave, unless they're spaced out somewhat. Do these people even have brains or common decency? Like no joke why do people think this shit is acceptable?
They might already be damaging their first time experience by summoning, but it's unreasonable and uncool to want them to skip the cutscenes too, and just watching afterwards isn't the same at all. We join to back them up and keep them alive, not to just blitz the whole level for them and rush it all.
Aside from that, another rule, please at least try to learn the basics of stances and Ki Pulsing.
A fun interesting game with a lot to offer and a deep combat system that gives you more engagement the more you focus on and try to learn and play it as intended. Abandon any preconceptions and pay attention to what the game tells you and what is written on screen, while actually experimenting yourself with options, items, effects and techniques. It's pretty fun.
this game is so easy ki pulses and stances are completely unnecessary; just pointless bloat.
Tell that to the average summoner.
What...no.
watch some random streamers. no matter how far in they are, half the time he only uses 2-3 hit light attack combo in mid stance, playing exactly as if it's a souls game(it is, just bad)
Thanks. I'll see about playing it once it installs.
nooooooooo don't waste your time wait on Sekiro
You can knock that shit right off.
zinkazonki is retarded and unoriginal.
no wonder the only good "souls" game was co-developed with Sony Studios. Fromshovelware is all garbage
