I'd be down. I love how slightly weird SML2 (and SML3) are. I miss when Mario was willing to be weird. The Galaxy games and Odyssey have all kinds of cool shit in them -- they aren't unimaginative -- but they aren't properly weird.

All I really want is a picaresque stealth platformer starring Waluigi. You'd go around planning and pulling off heists, infiltrating Mushroom Kingdom banks and museums, and stealing everything not nailed down. Could either be 2D or 3D, in the style of Trilby: Art of Theft or Sly Cooper respectively; could even have multiplayer, if the levels were large enough and dotted with objectives requiring collaboration.
