I've been using Deluge for a while but I don't like that clicking "open file location" only opens the download folder and not the folder of the torrented files in question. Does qbittorrent do this? Literally my only gripe with Deluge.

First and foremost, it's written by a developer of µTorrent, which means you can't trust him to write a torrent client backend that is just as good as or better than µTorrent. It's a conflict of interest.

Aside from that, every single libtorrent-rasterbar client has problems with managing files, whether it be not allowing individual file selection when adding magnet links or torrent files, not opening the download destination of the torrents you download, or both. In the case of qBittorrent, it has issues with connections stalling that work fine in other clients. All in all libtorrent-rasterbar is just a monumental pile of shit and people only use it because it's easier to use the library than it is to write something that actually fucking works.

I didn't ignore your post at all. Your experience with a single client is irrelevant. I used to regularly use qBittorrent. It routinely failed to open the destination folder of what I had downloaded. Deluge failed to allow selection of individual files from magnet and torrent links prior to downloading. Halite had the same problem as Deluge. Once the 3.x line of qBittorrent hit, I was affected by stalled connections on torrents that previously worked fine and worked perfectly fine elsewhere. I had believed STALLEDtorrent was a meme until then.

I've looked around more torrent clients than you've ever installed. Sorry, but libtorrent-rasterbar is garbage and I've already posted three FOSS clients that don't use it that actually work the way a torrent client is supposed to.

It never failed me after all those years, you either right click on a torrent you need and click "open the destination folder" or simply use setting like I do (see screenshot) and double-click the torrent.

I've used both and I've been happier with qb

They both use libtorrent so they're very similar. I find that qbittorent runs smoother then deluge does on my system so I've just gone with that and really never looked back.

I've never used libgen but I just checked and it doesn't even have all of Gene Wolfe's good stuff and he's a pretty fucking popular guy. If you stop being such a defensive fucking faggot then by all means hop on #bookz and grab what you need. Don't find it there, odds are you have to buy it or hit up a library.

RARBG is my go to since Kickass died. TPB is still around and probably still the most popular, but I find it hard to find good game torrents on it.
