I loved mine. Bought it a year after it launched. It was absolutely amazing for emulation. The touch pads work really well. My only complaint was the lack of L/R 2 buttons. I played a ton of PSX games on it.

There's a couple of things that I really don't like about folding phones right now. My biggest complain is the fucking crease. Is that going to be fixed later or is that something you have to expect with a foldable phone. Besides that, when you have your phone folded, how can you put it on the table? I expect that this new screen isn't as scratch resistant as the older non-foldable screen. So, like there's always going to be on side that's just going to be your scratch side? Or are they actually scratch proof?

I think it actually kinda is. I've been designing games for like 20 years but every time I think about trying a mobile project (and hopefully bringing something new to the platform) I give up.
Touch screens are just way the fuck more limiting than they seem like they should be.

I think that's why mobile studios mine the fuck out of every vein until everything sucks and we hate them whenever they find one. Increasingly garbage microtransactions are just the result of a cycle of trying to milk every last drop out of whatever works.
There are other reasons that developing for mobile is a miserable ass-sucking experience, but I suspect it's the root of a lot of the problems design-wise. It's like making games for cripples.

You just can't be serious about these games being good let alone playing those games on the fucking phone.
You could have presented an Ace Attorney game, for example: those are quite good and ported pretty fine. Yes, those do count but it took them years to get ported and there is no info on anyone actively developing something similar for phones (exclusively or multiplat).

In all fairness you can get a phone clip for an existing controller like a dualshock 4, or something like an 8bitdo N30 or SN30 with one for less than any official controller that'll also work with your PC and Switch. Really good for emulators on the go, which is what I use mine for. Feels weird playing a GBA game at a desk.

$2000 to play on a shitty phone when you can get a perfect gaming PC with that.

Basically, a device to hold your phone onto the controller. This one's spring-loaded so it just clamps down but if you've got a particularly popular phone like a current iPhone or something you can often get purpose-designed controllers for them too.
