Lunastra is easy, the only thing difficult about her would be her Nova.

Never found it in my first hunt but I did find it in my second and kept it alive, I ended up in the starting area with the healing flowers, that and lifepowders made it easy to keep it alive. If you want it to stay alive, the jagras take priority as soon as they come.

Luna is easy, having to fight both Luna and Teo is hell

Last word of advice:
Use the Lunastra Styx(thunder!/water ammo) and Blaze(ice!/Fire ammo) for the KT fights as she offers direct upgrades in her R8 weapons to things you own like Karma LBG as well as getting mostly meta weapon stuff.

And if you like the Nergi HBG, you'll LOVE the r6/r7 KT Assault Glutton. 6 shots of spread 2/3 ammo with zero recoil for DAYS. The KT Assault Horn is also a contender as both can be ran elementless, but you need ammo+up for Horn.

Her nova is easy, the actually difficult part is the patches of blue shit she leaves everywhere, which explode for 9000 damage when she as much as bats her eyelashes anywhere in a kilometer radius around those. Her proper attacks pose little threat in comparison.

Enraged monsters will follow you, non-raged monsters won't. Use that to separate them.
The only time you ever have to fight multiple monsters at once is in arena.

I'm no LS expert but divine Slasher and Calamity Reaver are the go-to favorites for starters.

Her nova is extremely frustrating for AT version. It's guaranteed death in some position because you can't even sheath and farcasting in time after being staggered by the wind hitbox before dying from tick damage. Even when you manage to farcast, you waste a shit load of time and she can decide to supernova shortly again and force you to farcast again. Her nova chip damage is so powerful that it will kill you even if you are already standing at around 50% from the center of her blast radius and start running away as soon as possible. Farcasting barely save you most of the time even when you use it as soon as possible out of stagger

>lunastra and that wind cunt appear at the same time

I had no idea that monsters could create wombo combo attacks together.

Slashing weapon? Aim for the tail and back legs. Blunt Weapon/Bowgun? Aim for frontal limbs and face(only if you want emnity/aggro!) Water element for face, fire element for tail, ice element for back legs.
Super important tip! If you want to learn the timing for the meteor dodge, your character does a small flinch as the meteor is dropping. Use it right after your character does this for 90%+ dodge accuracy. BE AWARE that your character will not flinch if wearing memesteady mantle!

Fucking leshen took the fight to 4-5 times in a row into jagras when I start off the save pukei pukei quest and made me fail the quest for hours. It makes saving pukei pukei literally 10x harder because pukei will get trap in some bumfuck corner with jagras and you can't get to him nor the jagras because his dumbfuck is blocking the way while leshen spell knocking you around.
The open field makes saving pukei so much easier, I didn't even need to use the flower.

Small thing to add to this. Someone is probably going to try to sleep him under the pillar in the first area.I don't recommend it as I like to save my CC for area 4, but waking him up with a falling boulder hits him for 3500 damage.

Absolutely fucking terrible advice. Hard CC like mounting, KO or para makes Behemoth drop Ecliptic Meteors with no comets if you push him beyond the damage threshold during it.

Those should be saved for the end of phase 1, so you could shave some health off phase 2, which is considerably worse than p1 because of the multi-target meteor spam.
Or better yet, put him to sleep under the rocks and drop them, because the wakeup x2 damage modifier affects them as well.

The problem with ED sets in World is that they counter themselves. You need Kushy's set bonus to nullify ED windpress. And Vaal set to counter his own dragon AIDS.
Previously you had Chameleos counter Kushy's gimmicks, Kushy counter Teo etc.
But in World you don't have a monster to use the ED sets against after you beat them.

to be fair you can grind the non tempered version of the monsters to get the parts, also you dont really need wind negate for kushala or vaal set to negate his poison farts

I'm ok with that because you use it to farm streamstones, and decos, so you have to deal with their gimmicks until you get 3 pieces. Though now you don't need to farm decorations legit with those 2 retarded deco event quests.

Also, 3 miasma jewels are waaaaaay better than going for 3 VH pieces imo.

Insect glaive makes her a long but easy fight since you can just fly around and chop up the wings and stay away from all the shit she lays out on the ground.

I used enough of the Kushala Daora set for the set bonus (negates all wind for her supernova) with something for health and decorations focusing on fire res and stun. Bring along fireproof mantle or health booster and you're on ez mode, even for the supernova.

Divine Slasher is a great raw LS, i also am a big fan of Legia Stealer.

Use R2 from sheathed to bring out your kinsect from neutral to get your first extract quickly. From there, just get a sense of where each monster gives what extract. Wings/Legs -> White, Face/Claws -> Red, Body -> Orange is the general rule, but isn't always the case.

Other user was also right, get a speedy bug boy, speedy bugs are the best bugs. Power Prolonger is also an incredibly useful skill for IG.

Kush Y arms are a great focus piece to provide more options in sets that use focus, in case you dont want to use Damascus B chest.

probably couldnt think of a way to make it work with tracking flies.

None of the mods where you just drop files in (resulting in changed textures) can harm your save. It's the programs that can potentially cause issues (though it depends on the program) and usually it's just that the game won't start or the program won't hook into the game (meaning you need only not run the program to be fine, usually having to wait until the program is updated).

The only save fuckery I'm aware of is if you use one of the mods that let you transmog and use it to give yourself the appearance of gear we can't get yet, or glitched stuff like low rank armor gear while you have an armor pigment equipped (low rank gear can't have armor pigments).

I tried to keep a good balance between survivability and damage but eventually I collapse from the chip damage during the endless lightning + firespam in the last phase.

Gunlance was much easier for me as you can always reach his face with shells and do great dmg non-stop.
