Current PS5 specs are just an Xbone X with a ryzen instead of Jaguar and an 8TF Navi. It's not a huge improvement and should come in at $399. We pretty much know PS5 is cutting a cut down RX 3080 or Navi 10, whatever you want to call it, we don't know how powerful it will actually be, but looking at Vega VII, which is undoubtedly quite a step up from whatever is inside the PS5 due to it's high price & xbox hueg size, i wouldn't except PS5's GPU to even be GTX 1080 level, especially when you factor in lower clocks due to PSU/Heat limitations on Consoles.

GDDR5 for the CPU is a bad thing, the high latency caused some hilarious issues early on for PS4, like the lens flare in BF4 popping in & out

Nah, Sony's pretty shrewd at this. MS is still asshurt over them falling for the always-online Kinect meme thinking Sony was doing the same. They got outplayed hard and are looking to return the favor this gen. Too bad for them Cerny's already finalized PS5 components with AMD ages ago.
If navi fixes the ancient GCN gaming bottlenecks, then even a cut down Navi 10 is going to quite a beast for it's size. Vega VII has loads of silicon being wasted in gaming due to the bottlenecks
