I played the game on release at 15fps, 8fps for the elevator. Bought that shit on PS4 and did ending E a day after finishing my PC playthrough it was so good.

First thing I did after upgrading my rig was all endings at 60fps. Shit was cash but there's something funny about playing as an android watching your fps counter like a hawk.

No it doesn't, actually. On your machine the game is running at upscaled 720p and you don't even realise it. It's a universal problem with Automata and its full screen mode on PC. You can only force native 1080p or higher in full screen with a mod.

I got the ending where you kill all the Square Enix staff in the credits hacking game offline on PC. Used cheat engine to make my health infinite.

It's one the things the devs used to """optimize""" the game for the OG PS4 (it still ran like shit tho) and the PC port is a direct port of that version so the japs didn't give a fuck to include a proper resolution option.

Yes, and when you play windowed, the resolution is all kinds of scaled to whatever the size of the window is. Nobody actually plays in windowed mode. They use it to have the game running while usi g cheat engine.
