Pretty nice, I find myself picking it up and playing for quick 30 min to an hour spurts every once in a while, so if you have a Switch it's good there (I'm playing it on PC, personally). It takes a little while to get going (honestly probably more than it should) which is when you get the dash ability at the end of the second area. Tons of content though, well worth if you like metroidvanias.

This game is really fucking bad but I love it. Right after watching the entire anime for the first time, this feels like an encore. They invested everything into making it look and feel like a Trigger anime and invested nothing into the gameplay. I love everything that is not the combat sequences.

DMC2 was thrown together in about six months and is one of the most incomplete games ever pushed to market. It's like playing an alpha. You're not missing anything.

From the little bit i've gotten to try at TGS and the gamescom event it feels nice, looks nice, but from everything I played there doesn't feel like a lot of room to replay. Not really. It feels more akin to the fast pace of nioh or bloodborne than other souls games. It's got a lot of traits of souls games, but the big things are the grappling hook and the ki/stamina system as opposed to traditional stamina bar. weapons are all trick weapon type things where they've got their sword form then you pop into an axehead or set it aflame, something like that. I'm interested in the game but I think it's gonna settle around $30 before it starts selling. $60 is way too much.

It is, seeing as it's essentially a shooter designed like a CRPG. The modern mouselook mod helps mitigate this a lot. Once I sat down and really gave it a chance, the remaining layer of clunk wasn't too bothersome and the gameplay is pretty simple once you learn the UI. The first area does a good enough job of easing you into the game.

Yes. I enjoyed Shadowrun Returns, although Dagonfall had a much better story to it. Hong Kong was pretty much more of the same.

You have to realize that it is very easy to be negative about your situation, to sit and think about how shit everything is, and be unsatisfied with all you've got. It's very easy to do that, and harder to see the good in things and to work on yourself so you can have the things you want to have. If you just allow yourself to be negative and think the worst of everything, think everything is pointless or not worthwhile, then you grow cynical, and cynicism is like a warding spell that fends off good moods.

I'm getting of long-winded here. Look, it's simple. Don't allow yourself to sit around and pout. Figure out what you want to do and do it. Don't sit in the theatre of your own mind, it's miserable in there.

It's okay. Gameplay underwhelming a bit, bullet sponge stupid enemy's but flying and using abilities is nice. And also some bugs. And game definitely need SSD otherwise you will spend more time loading than playing.

M&B doesn't have to be big, and saves are easily transferred, they're just single files. Set a small goal for yourself like gain a fief or some shit like that. Keeps you on your toes.

I downloaded the vita version recently. It's pretty enjoyable, text is too small but I imagine that's just a vita issue. There's a lot of mechanics and having to stop the action to learn what new effects do, what %s mean what, and all that shit is annoying but that's just a steep learning curve.

Not really. I kinda just threw shit together while trying to retain damage and good modifiers. I know gamefaqs has a good checklist guide that covers good weapons and mods to aim for.

For singleplayer, you ideally want zero melee. You almost never use melee attacks, and enemies that are only vulnerable to melee aren't too hard to take care of. Any stats in melee are wasted.
