For me it was Counter Strike 1.6
First game you've played to use the WASD control scheme
...
daggerfall
Quake 2.
every shooter before it, i was still using keyboard only.
either Quake or Myst. I think I played Myst first
MDK or Starsiege: Tribes, probably
pic related.
I didn't get to do much pc gaming when I was super young because my pc was shit, but I loved the fuck out of this.
I still had to run it at the lowest possible settings however, and as a result every round was grays vs blues since my computer couldn't render the red on the armor for some reason.
Wing Commander
honestly can't remember but it might have been bioshock on a really shitty laptop
Tribes for me too I think. I didn't play a lot of FPS. First I was thinking of Liero but it uses RDFG and the arrow keys by default.
Runescape, if that counts
Minecraft
World of Warcraft, I guess.
OG call of duty
before that I just played AoE and civ II
Minecraft
you cannot find a better game
pubg
I don't use my keyboard for gaming. Instead I use it for liquid waste.
Prey (not 2017 Prey) was the first game I TRIED playing with WASD because a friend was showing it to me. Didn't get very far because it was my first time ever using those controls
Quake 3 Arena was probably the first one I actually played with WASD proper, though.
Viet cong
half life
you jizz isnt suppose to look like that user, go get yourself checked out
I don't want to talk about Viet-Fucking-Nam!
Quake 3 arena. Followed by TF2
Soldier of fortune.
Roblox. But only when I revisited it in like 2015, back when I first played it, I used the arrow keys.
The doctor told me the well has gone dry and I may never fap again. I guess Ill go play some vidya.
Who said anything about jizz? Maybe user gets an irresistible urge to squirt ranch dressing all over his keyboard whenever he's aroused.
Confession: when I first played games that defaulted to wasd I would remap to directional keys. First one that comes to mind was Hitman.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
I've played a fair few wasd games using the cursor keys when I was a kid, but the first I started using wasd on was probably Half Life
World of Warcraft. I actually remember being worried that using a keyboard would be too confusing since I was so used to controllers.
Halo pc trial, I used the arrow keys at school but when I played at home, someone online told me about the wasd, never looked back. Dominated the schools servers after that.
probably pic related or WoW
I think it may have been Thief, or SS2. I know I first played Half-Life mapped to the arrow keys
didn't the original hitman have some wacky ass scheme mapped to the numpad?
I think Power Pete was wasd+arrows
I play everything with DYEL
good question.
probably quake 2, or myst when i was a little shit
Duke Nukem 3D. I was on Kali playing keyboard only and getting my ass wrecked when the guy I was playing told me to use WASD and my mouse.
Gaming was just better back then.
Unreal Tournament after my brother updated it from arrow keys.
I was on arrow keys for ages, even past Unreal 1 and HL1, and I think for a good while during the UT99 days. Can't remember when, but somewhere during the UT99 and Q3 days, I must have switched to both WASD and occasionally TFGH for Q3 Rocket Arena. I guess the general multiplayer skill just rose and I wasn't getting anywhere with arrow keys and needed access to more keys for quick weapon selection etc.
I remember it to be a particularly annoying transition.
Does this even count as a joke?
just remembered that the old myst was click only so yeah quake 2
I used Ctrl for forward and alt for backwards for so long thanks to my Uncle. Did it first on UT99, then for years up untill tf2 around 2009 when I for annoyed of alt tabbing
DOS no$gb on my brothers computer sunk alot of time into pokemon diamond
