What the fuck were they thinking with characters like Lucina, Roy, and Palutena? Why the fuck do you have fast characters who do insane damage, that have moves that combo into each other, have amazing range, and great kill power. These people realize you need to add weakness to characters right? Same but to a lesser extent with characters like Yoshi.

Fuck losing 800,000+ GSP every match. What the fuck, who thought that was a good idea. You can easily go from 3.5 mil GSP to 500,000 in three losses, fuck that shit hard.

And then you have to fight some Ike spamming nair and side B that teabags whenever he gets a stock. Fuck this game sometimes.

If you get hit by Roller at all there's a 99% chance you got played into it, Cosmos crafts his playstyle around making people whiff a move so he can punish with Roller and even then he only lands it maybe 2 times in an entire set. If you get hit by Roller a ton of times, or Ganon's utilt, you're just bad.

How do I get good at fast lightweight and very offensive character?

I'm more or less new at smash (played all of them but I'm trying to play this one seriously for the first time)
Right now I'm sitting at 3.7M GSP with DK, but any time I try to pick someone else I get destroyed (I'm fine with swordies too I guess the range help?)
I feel like I'm doing fine with him mainly because DK is not mechanically hard to play (or that's how I feel about him?).

Like everything feel very basic,every hit hit hard, I'm hard to kill and most of my fights in the end comes down to predicting or baiting stuff and punishing it behind with one button.

Fireballs scare the living hell out of most mediocre players and make them overcommit just to approach you: It's particularly easy to initiate juggles or punish their hasty aerial with a Nair Out of Shield once they poorly try to approach you.

If you play a projectile character with a tether grab ex: Ivysaur, Samus, Ylink, Lucas and just spam projectiles on the edge and shield grab if enemy is close fuck you, that shit is so obnoxious to deal with online because the lag makes it harder to weave around projectiles.

I picked him up one day just for the hell of it and got to elite smash in a couple of hours. I can't do this with my mains yet somehow I got this little bastard in. He's fun to play and getting clutch 9's is the funniest shit ever. I killed a t-bagging Daisy player on his second stock as his spawn i-frames ran out with a 9 and he just SD'd on his last stock.

I will admit though that forward air is pretty trash. It's great when you actually get it to work but it's inconsistent as fuck.

Game was pretty slow, yeah. But I had my fair share of fun with it regardless. I'm not one to engage in Smash wars anyways, I've been playing all the games for a while to a semi competitive level, and I've learned to enjoy all of what they have to offer. Down the line though, I'd say I would want to come back to 4 the least: There's just not much the game has at all over Ultimate: Some custom moves are fun. A Friend & I used to play Random Custom + Equipment set matches, it made for some great casual matches.

I think the best buff he could get is to be removed from the game entirely. That way he can at least be relevant in his shitty game meta instead of being an ugly-ass dead weight in Smash

UpAir hitbox extended is what I would do.
It's a pretty good aerial but its hitbox being better could take it to one of the best of its kind. If he could more conveniently use landing UpAirs, it would greatly expand his options, since that's a combo starter from low to mid%

After the addition of two-button shorthops, I'm actually liking it more than the gamecube controller since the triggers feel more like buttons and you've got an extra shoulder button to use for C-stick macro specials. I found it completely unusable before that patch, but Y + RT is a bit easier to shorthop with on pro than on gamecube in my opinion. The input lag is slightly worse and you lose the octagonal gates though, so they both have their advantages.

As a Wii Fit main, having me and my opponent being off the ledge is my most comfortable position for me

To be completely fair, as someone who played the e3 demo multiple times, it was fucking shit at first. nearly every hit no matter how small sent the opponent flying and they suffered next to no hitstun, it felt like a slightly faster Brawl. They obviously fixed this in the full roster version which now ironically has characters stay in hitstun longer than in 4 due to hitstun cancelling being removed, but I was REALLY worried for a while.

Unlike the other 2 Links, his aerials are really meh. The only way to play a good Toon Link is to zone & use UpTilt combos. Really not thrilling at all.

All 3 Links are a pain in the ass but he's the least offensive of the 3

If he had a normal dair I would play him in a heart beat. I've always rather his swings of the sword compared to adult Link's.
