I wouldn't be surprised if Invi is Aqua's super great grandma, and if Aced is Terra's super great grandpa or something. There's even a scene in the Back Cover movie, that mirrors the scene in BBS where Terra gets mad at Aqua for keeping tabs on him, which happens with Aced getting made at Invi for doing similarly.

I watched Back Cover before playing the game and there's a lot of shit the movie didn't include. There's a good video on YT though that goes over the entire story if you don't want to go through all 800+ story quests in the game.

How long does it take to catch up on those 800 quests? Do I need to spend a single dime?

No need to pay but those quests are utter hell. I lost my account and I think its for the best, the devs dont know how to balance the game and I am too lazy to recover it (I dont think I can though)

The story quests are pretty fucking easy. They give about 12k jewels to new players so you can get some pretty OP medals for the quests. You can skip a lot of them too; the ones with the cutscene symbol next to them are the most important.

These minus the faggot on the front are your new KH villains.

Having my character die in the keyblade war during the browser game before unchained became a thing was so fucking based. Almost as based as fighting Terrar's Armor for the first time.

I agree on Nomura shitting on the game tho, there were several times were I felt it was all rushed to reach the ending.

Like Terra didn't even have to fight Xehanort inside his mind/heart to recover his body, he just won instantly. Unlike BBS where he did have to fight to win.
Also what even happened to Terranort and Lingering Will's fight? They just disappeared and never came back.

Unchained follows the story of the Dandellions, those faggots that said "we will not fight!" while the browser game followed the story of the keyblade wielders that didn't join the dandellions and just fought to the death during the war.

It means we get Matt Mercer as an antagonist so I am okay with this

Really easy because you don't actually have to do all of them. If you do the objectives and 1 turn wins, you get to skip 3-5 quests until the next "story" quest (which is the one that plays a little cutscene) every time

I rolled a Black Coat Riku on like my second pull from the free jewels and that one medal one shots everything to quest 500 ish

The story elements go 5 by 5, and you can skip all the quests inbetween.

The game is made for anyone to catch up, and for any free to play player to enjoy it.

Ignore the rides. Keyblade transformations are based though.

The game was piss easy tho. I unironically beat everything even Xehanort with the fire spells. Every volley would do around 4 health bars worth of damage to any boss. It was crazy, and I didn't even choose the sorcerer's path at the beginning of the game.
