The adults deal in cash so they can stay on government benefits, and lots of the kids therefore have money from stealing, prostitution, or dealing drugs, so it's easy for them to get guns. You just have to spend some time on Facebook or Twitter to see them posting pictures with loaded guns.

It's never mentioned on national news. It was already stated, but these random killings continue into adulthood and are equally public and equally never make the news. It's hard to avoid if you live near it and they're pretty open about their love of stealing and killing and raping. There's a reason they hate police so much.

The closest I've ever come was some girl in my class shit-talked me to her boyfriend, said I was a creep and was molesting her and such because she was fucking crazy. So I go out to get water one day, and I just happen to see both of them walking in the hall, and under his breath he was repeating "J-jackass" and "F-fucking retard". Like really quiet, I could barely hear him. Just as I'm walking past him he turns and tries to kick me as hard as he can in the shin. The only thing I felt was his foot popping as his shoe impacted the soft muscle surrounding my calf.
