Is CD Projekt in trouble?
>people don't want to buy shitty 20 year old games
color me surprised
I think everyone has bought the 20 year old games they want and GOG can't compete with Steam.
Plus Thronebreaker utterly bombed.
does CD Projekt own GoG?
Anyway, they said Cyberpunk 2077 wasn't going to be exclusive to GoG
On the contrary, people would buy more of then if GoG didn't pick shitty ones and stop pushing indie shit so much
just downsizing while finding the sweet spot, companies don't need to be gigantic entities to operate
Yes they do. My guess is that Thronebreaker lost them enough money that they need to tighten their belts.

delet
While not a lot, Thronebreaker made money.
Almost certain GOG is going down because of Epic Store.
Why do you think that? It seems pretty obvious a lot of money was spent on it and that it didn't sell very well.
GOG doesn't sell any games on EGS so it can't be that.
>hates shmup
>think that zachlikes are not games
yea fuck off and die, gog
>FCK DRM
>goes bankrupt
as they said, get woke, go broke
yeah it used to sell indie games
now they're all going to Epic
I hope GOG dies and DRM becomes more rampant.
>social media manager won't stop making jokes about trans people for no apparent reason
>gets fired
>then everyone gets fired
lmao
Their growth almost stopped in 2015. It wouldn't surprise me if it started to decrease since they release only old games and indie shit. No one big wants to sell on gog because of their drm free stance. If they will change that then they lose their only advantage over other shops and no one will buy there anyway. They are utterly fucked.
>linking to kotaku
unironic reddit right here
>first big digital storefront collapse
>people realize that their investments can just poof into air
>every games-as-service shit service collapses
I fucking wish.
I'd download all your GOG games right now just in case.
They won't shut down over night.
Even Desura gave warning.
Fuck OP for making me momentarily think Kotaku was facing financial pressures.
No-one thought Telltale would go like that either.
I fucking hate PC gaming
One less store seems like a step in the right direction though.
>less competition is good thing
This is what happens when you try to "compete" with "features the customer values" like DRM free games
Know the support the mustard race will give you. People just saw GoG as free software not even need to crack games.
>competition is inherently good
How would epic store affect GoG?
A shame since GoG is by far the most consumer friendly platform.
Was thronebreaker actually any good?
I read that as Kotaku is facing financial prrssures. Would have made my day.
do you like basic puzzling games? if so then yes
Actually, it usually is.
>linking kotaku
Go back
>directly linking to kotaku
Fuck off
GOG has tried to be the curated indie marketplace but it just never fucking worked. You've had games that would fit with their demographic that weren't released there cuz ???
Galaxy is clunky as well.
I'm surprised it took you faggots this long to call out OP. Disappointed. Kotaku isn't as bad as it used to be but it's still a shithole of a community.
A WHOLE DOZEN
WOW, 12 PEOPLE GOT FIRED
GOG IS DEAD GUYS
