Compared to the shit that has come out lately Bioshock 3 is a fucking masterpiece. Dark times.
Should've been an anime
How did it come to this
People who hate bioshock infinite don't get bioshock. It's a great game.
>Why do you hate my game user?
It's shit. Nothing else to it, really.
its a good game just not a good Bioshock game
no its a bad game too
it's 100% a bioshock game Yea Forums as an entity is just contrarian
Because your core values are the oy good thing about it, and they hate that fact
I never played it but are all the alternate liz's in the game's files or do you just see them in like a pre-rendered cutscene?
Because I've only ever seen E3 liz, beach liz, and tower liz
your enemies sucked. The most important thing any shooter game has to do is make the enemies fun to kill and to give context for why killing them should be satisfying and meaningful.
its soulless
what does this thread have to do with sony you fucking idiot
>levels are almost entirely linear
>audio logs (voxophones) are now even more contrived and the shit people thought a good idea to record is even more ludicrous
>ammo conversation is irrelevant even on 1999 mode because of Elizabeth, enemies dropping guns and tear ammo barrels
>more cutscenes and bioshock 1 and 2 combined
>sense of claustrophobia entirely gone
>up-it's-ass meta plot
I think the sound design is really nice but that's about it. Bioshock is a watered down System Shock 2 and Infinite is a watered down bioshock
Too much futa SFM stuff of you on rule64, Elizabeth.
Bioshock Infinite was the beginning of the end for my optimism in this shitty hobby
soul and soulless are the most overused words on Yea Forums, and have lost all meaning.
I like it
wrong thread? brain damage?
None of that made Bioshock though
not the same as we promised and a shitload of cut content
as always
Gen z are a bunch of social media molded faggots
Infinite was fucking dope. Perhaps a bit flat, but with BAS 1/2 a well rounded linear fps.
>too much
Except no, Infinite is still shit compared to every recent title. And every other title ever.
kino
Because I was playing on the wrong side.
Gonna have to disagree. Even ignoring the high standards that Bioshock 1, 2, and even 3 have compared to it, Infinite feels very...dumbed down I guess is the way I would put it. More linear story, less exploring, less world building, less enemy variety, powers are much easier to acquire. Even the sequence where you are basically running across the sky over skinny cables doesn't actually let you fall if you fuck up.
Ok I'll bite. What "made bioshock"?
This. I remember reading the original Game Informer coverage with the dope Norman Rockwell styled covers and then scouring over the wiki last year to see all the shit they cut. All games have shit that doens't make the final but but dear GOD the ideas and plot that was scrapped form Infinite makes my blood boil.
It's never too much
Going to an Eutopia and a plot twist
things like claustrophobia got turned to acrophobia
>futa x futa Elizabeth self-cest
>futa Elizabeth being fucked by dogs
>futa Elizbeth being fucked by futa chicks from other video games
Futa x futa is too much.
"Why do you hate my game"
I don't, retards on Yea Forums do.
>The Boys of Silence were originally meant to appear as a recurring enemy, but in the final version of the game they only appear in Comstock House. They were shown to be an enemy feared by the player, much like Songbird, appearing in certain areas making you re-think the way to handle a situation. The Boys of Silence were also beatable, but now simply disappear if you're spotted or if you attack them. Originally, they were blind and relied on their sense of hearing, rather than spotting the player using a spotlight similar to the cameras in the first BioShock as they did in the finished game.
>Back when BioShock Infinite was meant to have significant horror elements, these enemies were showcased as the most horrifying creatures. Not knowing what was under the masks would make the player both scared and interested in what story was behind them. Originally it was hinted they were orphaned children, but any backstory was virtually scrapped in the final iteration.
This especially puzzles me. They were clearly designed to have super-human hearing. So why do they "see" you with fucking spotlights in the retail game? Why was stealth totally scrapped.
All you had going for you was a great setting.
>Going to an Eutopia and a plot twist
You think the theme that makes bioshock is a very tired trope of fiction?
>futa Elizabeth being fucked by dogs
Gross
>futa x futa Elizabeth self-cest
>futa Elizbeth being fucked by futa chicks from other video games
Based
do you think the black haired guy shits out the side of his face?
yeah, and the powers
I bet you like futas with big balls too.
>I don't understand parallel universes in the slightest but I'm gonna write about it because it's cool
well yeah
and?
That isn't unique to Bioshock though. Phantom Dust, Remember Me, Crackdown, Deus Ex. All dystopian games with powers.
Uno Makoto is that you?
Don't write about shit you have absolutely no understanding of, it makes you look like a joke - which is what Bioshock Infinite is.
and steampunk like technology
i have never played a bioshock game so if Yea Forums is so autistically hating on this game then it must be a master piece
there are just some constants in life
and hatred of shitty games is one of them
this is levine's response to being asked what makes something a bioshock game
>The game takes place in a world that is both grounded in reality and fantastical at the same time. That world needs to be more detailed than any other game world out there. b) The combat has to have a strong improvisational nature, with a suite of player tools that lets everyone approach combat differently.
Yeah but reddit likes it and thought that it was a masterpiece so it might be a piece of shit
The story tried too many things and failed at all miserably. The many worlds thing was bad, pointless and convoluted, Elizabeth was a dumb unlikeable mary sue character, game story forces meaningless choices with no consequence, even the racism theme was toothless, cartoony at best and poorly handed.
Gameplay is ok. It's servicable, or at least was enough to keep me playing.
indeed, it was the straw that finally broke me. super excited show up at midnight release put it in and it's basically sky COD without even the mercy of multiplayer
what about bioshocks use of parallel universes made it look like a joke?
You are rarted
Because you sacrificed your godly powers to save a bunch of zombie girls and die.
My brother
But I don't, Infinite is my favorite Bioshock, even if the original is admittedly way better
That only really applies to Infinite though. Bioshock 1/2 have strong art-deco stylings but not steampunk.
>That world needs to be more detailed than any other game world out there.
Now that's a fucking laugh. Levine's idea of world building is people presenting exposition by talking very loudly to their friends and retarded audiologs that have no reason to exist. Outside of set pieces, the smaller scale environments are very samey. Offices, homes, pavilions, etc are all very samey.
>make game that sucks and doesn't even feel like a part of the IP you named it as.
hmmmm just throw in some pseudo intellectual bullshit that you don't really understand and you know other pseudo intellectuals don't understand and if anyone complains it's shit, just say 'well you just don't understand it' become the reddit gold of games
>If Booker dies, Comstock dies
Let's just forget that in a multiverse there are a near-infinite amount of Bookers who would turn into Comstock. There isn't just one single fucking Booker who makes that choice.
Fucking this..
Will never again believe in prelaunch trailers
I remember that trailer where Booker steals the gun out of the guys hands with telekinesis and then uses the tk to shoot other people. I wish the guns besides the vox shotgun weren't so flaccid, and even the vox shotgun wasn't that great.
I wonder if he said this before Infinite came out, considering Infinite reduces the amount of options a player has in combat with the exception of the skyhook mechanics.
God I want new doujins from him so bad
You're objectively wrong
that is not at all correct. bioshock infinite is using the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics and that doesn't say there are infinite number of bookers that would turn into comstock. there is still cause and effect. all many worlds says is that all possible futures exist. but if you cut out the choice at a certain point in time all those futures cease to exist.
because Yea Forums told me to
The gameplay pales heavily in comparison with the other first two tittles, and that is the most important thing.
I unironically don't like FPS, I just pick the game, play for half an hour, alt+f4, and never play it again. Never finished one, the only exceptions were Bioshock 1 and 2, and that's only because they were unironically fun. Infinite is not, is just another shitty FPS, but this time pseudo-intellectual as well.
Because it was made for people who don't even like video games. Also, the mentally handicapped.
What you've just posted as an image and even spoken about is literally a simplified variant of the multiverse theory to explain to brainlets how it even works. Do you really think there are any major differences between that person if they were given the choice of say - deciding whether to buy a soda or not? Or choosing to stay in bed five minutes longer? Do you understand that with each and every split decision a new universe is made every single time?
There are infinitesimal choices to be made in a single human life, and each one in the multiverse spawns a near-identical but slightly different you. To say that killing one Booker kills one Comstock is fucking ridiculous, because there would be countless 99.9999% identical Bookers whose only differing decisions would have been holding in a shit for another hour, or eating a salad instead of a burger, or picking his nose in public instead of choosing not to.
Bioshock Infinite is an inverse-IQ test. Ken Levine admitted he made quantum physics the main plot point BECAUSE he knows nothing of it. It shows in the game, and in how it makes no sense. However, idiots and dumbasses played the game and failed to see just how bad it is. Instead, they feel like they grasped the advanced concepts of quantum physics and alternate realities, so they think the game is smart and that they're smart for playing it. It's kind of like people watching Big Bang Theory and thinking they're smart because of that.
Meanwhile, actually smart people and people with a head on their collective shoulders can see the many flaws in the story. They can tell the plot makes no sense, that the MC must be mentally retarded to expect Fitzroy to recognize a deal made with a Fitzroy 2 universes ago, after she just goes through some minor crisis because the MC she knows was dead for years. These people get perturbed by the general idiocy surrounding the game. They end up saying the game is dumb and bad.
And so the game is an inverse-IQ test. If you think it's smart, you're dumb. If you think it's dumb, you're smart (or at least not pants-on-head dumb).
No incest.
In all seriousness though it in no way lived up to the rabid hype and praise it got. After I beat it I regret getting it. It's up there with The Witcher 2/3, Heavy Rain, GTAIV, and DR2 for games that people TELL me are good, but that I just can't bring myself to like or care about.
I dare you to answer at least 3 (three) questions raised in this pic
>bioshock infinite is using the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics and that doesn't say there are infinite number of bookers that would turn into comstock
But it literally does. There are hundreds of choices you make in a single day, and you deciding between then is very likely not going to change you as a person.
>Elizabeth being fucked by dogs
What about Elizabeth and bloatflies?
>Do you understand that with each and every split decision a new universe is made every single time?
yes which is why booker drowns at the baptism. the choice at the baptism going through with it creates comstock and refusing it booker remains as booker
>99.9999% identical Bookers whose only differing decisions would have been holding in a shit for another hour, or eating a salad instead of a burger, or picking his nose in public instead of choosing not to
but none of those lead to comstock because booker dies at the baptism. every booker that decides to get baptized dies.
Bioshock Infinite was a straight up 10/10 until you start going through time rips and shit. When they introduce that the game and story just falls apart
Not him, and I never gave much of a shit about the game's multiverse fuckups anyhow since the story was boring to me, but from what I inferred I thought it was implied that the Booker you play as was the OG Booker, as in the one all the other Booker's stemmed from and so that was why Comstock died. It tickled my nerdbrain because that'd be timeline Back to the Future type-hootzpah instead of multiversal-claptrap, but that's just me.
And then I got told that every time you die, you're actually playing as another Booker entirely and I just stopped caring about the game as a whole. Fuck that shit. It's own meta ruined it/
Source
If the enemies were actually fun to fight (in no way did the Handyman live up to the “big daddy” levels of caution), the story minimized cutscenes (and Liz as a whole) and the retarded final act (vox subplot was heavily underdeveloped and would have been a far more interesting progression), and just didn’t have its head up its ass, then this could have been a good game. Also, barely any plasmids.
Does anyone have a snap of the intro “puzzle”. That should be /thread.
Massively downgraded gameplay, a setting that wasn't used very well, and a poorly written story.
This is the only Bioshock game I've played
>fantastic art direction
>11/10 sound design
>decently satisfying gunplay, gun upgrade/inventory system leaves a little bit to be desired
>fairly linear level design, not quite on-rails though
>sort've obtuse story, multiple universes translates to "woah man the realities are collapsing in on themselves, random shit it happening" in the end
I give it 7.5/10
>booker and elizabeth will never fuck before they find out the truth
you could even tell elizabeth was into him
What purpose would this even serve?
Instant regret
it is the exact opposite. the people who didn't understand the story because they are dumb think the game is bad. Yea Forums is filled full of complete fucking retards. guess which is the sole place the game is hated?
I don't understand why they specifically used an enemy designed to be blind for those sections. Wasn't there any other design they could have used?.
This.
>Top 10 anime betrayals -IGN
Ah, the Kingdom Hearts defense. Everyone who thinks the story is amateur hour just didn't get it and is an idiot.
I didn't liked the game because the characters did dumb shit decisions. With or without the parallel universe aspect, it's still an idiot plot.
The level design and gameplay and writing are all bad and offered zero improvement on previous entries.
I don't hate your game, I hate YOU.
Remove yourself from the game and I consider pirating it.
all of those are retarded complaints or explained.
Oh we understood the story. I think it goes without saying that your taste is utter shit.
Please, suck more dick, I can’t wait.
>Early concept art shows that the some workers in Fink’s Factories would actually be part of the machines they were supposedly operating. These emaciate workers were locked into the machines by a harness and the stumps of their arms are placed into the machine to control them. While not appearing in the final game, the concept of Fink turning people into machines was retained as Fink workers performed their duties in a very regimented and robotic fashion.
so Yea Forums is filled with people with phds in quantum mechanics?
More on the Fitzroy matter which I never saw anyone else mention in any of the many BS:I complaint videos:
>Booker meets Fitzroy for the first time
>They don't know each other and don't care about each other's problems
>She asks for weapons in exchange for an air ship for him to leave the city
>Booker accepts
>Goes to gunsmith
>Gunsmith is dead
>Jump to an alternate universe where he's still alive
>Jump again to a third universe where guns aren't at the gunsmith or something
>Original Fitzroy is now 2 universes back
>Maybe the concept of alternate realities is new and confusing to Booker, cut him slack
>Booker sees the city is different
>Actual war zone
>Posters who never saw before are everywhere
>Sees poster of himself as a long dead rebellion war hero
>Comments on how weird that is
>Safe to assume he figured out this is a vastly different place than where he started
>Finds New-Fitzroy
>She is baffled by the person standing before her
>Obviously she had some personal interactions with War-Hero-Booker
>NF knows WHB died many years ago
>She even says it to him
>She has absolutely no clue how it is Booker is standing before her
>Booker brings up his deal with OG-Fitzroy
>Surprised she doesn't know what he's talking about
>Angered that she doesn't respect his deal
At this moment I realized Booker was mentally challenged. This is not right. They set up everything to make the concept of parallel universes 100% clear to the audience AND to Booker. They even give Booker lines to indicate he's caught up with the oddity. And then he drops the ball and goes complete retardo. That's not even mentioning the fact that jumping between timelines/universes/realities is not equal to moving weapons around, as the original person is still waiting in the original universe for his shipment, because that can be excused as Elizabeth making a judgement mistake.
>entire pre-release idea of open world and decisions scrapped for linear shooting galleries
>more tower/wave defense than BS2
>arbitrary 2 gun restriction
>vigors were underwhelming and forced into story compared to plasmids
>rail combat was underdeveloped
>surface level "politics" that amount to BIG GUY BAD
>stolen BS2 ending instead of going for an oldboy ending
>DLC retrofits Elizabeth as the Mary Sue cornerstone of all the events in BS1
It's a mediocre game, barely playable, and not the 9-10/10s that the initial reviews gave it. The closest the game felt to the pre-release trailers was Battleship Bay.
Explain to me how exactly Booker didn't realized that they couldn't carry a giant machine in the first place
Master at quantum mechanics, yeah. But it's not relevant to the characters idiotic decisions though.
You don’t need a pdh to understand lazy writing and gameplay. Same reason you don’t need to be a top chef to know when you’re served a platter of salt... or seasoned feces in this case.
>mfw is too late to implement those weird technological appendages on workers
>mfw could have kickstarted transhumanism to the public
We live in a horrible timeline, no augmentation, and Bioshock Infinite exists.
Why not just have the hammers attached to something stable instead? The workers won't be able to move anyway since they are stuck to their bands.
But I guess it would at least have been an interesting scenario to view in game.
Is the DLC any good? I just got the Bioshock collection on a sale
I abhorred the original game, and if you can around the plot, the DLC was my favorite part. I love stealth, so maybe it’s just me.
BaS 1 has better gameplay than the base game, 2 goes for a basic, albeit fun enough stealth game. In terms of plot, 1 has an interesting premise,, while 2 ruins the entire franchise.
The other DLC is just a horde mode and can be skipped.
You think that they realized the simple concept of "maybe this world is different than the one we were in and the rules are different now" before they even attempted to to do it in the first place. Hell, they should just skedaddle to other universe before making the deal with Fitzroy in the first place.
I don't expect a simple man like Booker to realized it but I do expect Elizabeth to, considering that she's smart and owns the fucking power in the first place. There's so many things they can do with the concept and they used it for some dumbfuck filler that serves little purposes with the overall plot.
Gameplay wise the DLC was much better then the base game. The story was once again, kinda retarded but not nearly as bad.
I like Elizabeth, though
Nope. There's the whole "a smart game for smart people", written by dumbasses who can't tell the game is not smart. Like I said, it's like with Big Bang Theory: Write a pseudo-smart script for simpletons to digest, and they'll think your script is super smart, and by extension they'll feel good with themselves and their ability to comprehend it. In actuality, Bioshock Infinite's story is stupid and nonsensical. There are plenty of YouTube videos (unrelated to Yea Forums) who criticize the game's writing for being poor.
People who know half a thing about any of the topics brought up in the game can tell the story is bad. Not because they didn't understand it, but because they understood it better than the writers. There's not understanding a story and assuming it's bad, and there's understanding a story and knowing it's bad.
Two questions. No, three.
Why did she cut her fucking hair? Why was BaS Liz such a cunt? And why didn't she and Booker fuck, for fuck's sake?
Everyone was thinking it. The greatest tragedy of the game is that not even the stories pick up the damn slack. Any Bookerbeth story is always some fucking angst ridden crap and reads the same.
>So many people think that if you like this game it's because you think it's smart and makes you a genius for understanding it
No, I jut like it because the setting's cool, I love the gameplay, and the story (whilst having obvious flaws) is interesting and I like what's done with it. Even if Ken Levine is a spaz. Also, most importantly, Elizabeth will forever be best vidya waifu (alongside Lady from DMC).
Shitty Disney princess fapbait. Doesn't act like she should.
Because most people aren't sexually warped enough to find incest attractive.
Pretty sure the BaS explanation is that the Elizabeth is the OG one from the main story, and she's gone on a killinbg spree to exterminate any remaining Booker's who survived after OG Booker died. My interpretation is that BaS Booker went to Rapture before becoming baptised, and therefore never turned into Comstock, but Elizabeth has essentailly gone mad with anger at this point and is determined to kill anyone who even has the CHANCE to become Comstock.
wait a minute...
I like the porn that came out of it tho. Also thanks to said porn I found this catchy song: youtube.com
Well, you're not wrong.
Fuck BaS, legitimately the only game that pissed me off because of how fucking terribly executed it was. Literally below shovelware tier.
wasn't elizabeth originally supposed to not be related to brooker? theres a whole scene where she sort of subliminally hits on him and asks if he has a girlfriend.
Judging by the original gameplay footage, the original plot was probably about Booker saving the damsel in distress. He possibly changed it because lolquantumphysics
Because it was bad.
Yes, and? Fantasy and reality. Most people here wouldn't actually fuck their mother or want to be bullied by girls or drink their sweat from their armpits, but you see shit like that all the time.
Fantasy and reality. The majority of the game they were just perfect strangers with chemistry. All of that gets thrown out of the window by quantum bullshittery.
That sounds a lot worse than I thought. Really glad I never wasted money on the DLC, the ending to the base game was disappointing enough as it is and the 'he's your daddy' reveal ruined a good dynamic and paradoxically made it better.
Alright give me a game that's better and explain why then otherwise you have no argument.
Not him but Infamous.
shit gameplay
>explain why
why is that so difficult for anyone to ever do?
>Not him
I thought user was going to explain why Infamous was better, is all. I just wanted to be a part of the conversation.
they were asked to get tools. they didn't know it was giant machinery.
>Most people here wouldn't actually fuck their mother or want to be bullied by girls or drink their sweat from their armpits, but you see shit like that all the time.
Fantasy and reality
THIS. There's a fucking huge difference between what people fantasize, and what they would actually do. Most girls fantasize with rape, doesn't mean they want some nigger to jump their fence and violently pierce their holes. I like doujin with mommies or girl bullies, doesn't mean I would fuck my own mother, or I wouldn't flip my shit IRL if a girl tried to physically harass me.
>He didn't combo undertow with the volley gun
its a fun game pleb
This. Bioshock Infinite is one of my favourite games, and even though the story and quantum-mechanics shit it clearly flawed and made by a complete spaz, I still enjoy the game for what it is: fun gampley, a unique and interesting setting, and a QT sidekick. The story is interesting to me and I did and still do enjoy it, despite its obvious flaws.
>QT sidekick
>Quantum Thot
Nice.
What is your favorite elizabeth sfm porn lads?
>There's the whole "a smart game for smart people
that is complete projection from people who didn't understand it and had to have the ending explained to them. instead of admitting they were too dumb to understand a simplified fictionalized version of multiverse theory they attacked the game as presenting itself as a dissertation in quantum mechanics instead of what it is. just a game weaving some fun weird concepts from quantum mechanics into a fictional story.
also that image is so fucking dumb guess what one of richard feynman's most well known quotes is.
>If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics.
i bet spergburglar is such a genius. oh wait. he is probably a fucking loser who has never made anything like the goty successes that levine has. and what is even wrong with levines statement? should people not try to study things that make their brains hurt. everyone has to be a genius in everything before going to college? the only fucking people who are acting superior and smarter than everyone else are you and other people with similar projections about bioshock infinite.
The BaS one with the cunningulus. You know the one.
This one.i.4cdn.org
I don't, you were a 10/10 game
that one where she's sucking dick with a crowd of her alternate self's watching her suck
You have a point. The cunny wasn't puffy enough. Good call, user.
>cope
the game sucked, if you want to make this type of argument about BioShock being good fine it's valid, but Infinite sucked
you'd be pissed, too, if you saw great fucking designs for infinite, only for almost all of them, the story, and even the characters to be changed last minute, and levine even saying that he didn't understand parts of his own story. i actually don't care about the latter part with levine, but the scrapping and completely reforming was fucking terrible.
dare i say it?
elizabeth seemed a lot more important in terms of live gameplay in the very first, initial trailer, but then they turned her into some shitty disney princess who slimmer gamer gurls could maybe relate to
>I'm gonna say it
>BOOKER-DADDY
the e3 demo was always a scripted demo. after all the shit we know developers do for e3 i don't understand why people think bioshock infinite's e3 demo was a just a random moment from a fully developed game and not a proof of concept and completely scripted.
>what is even wrong with levines statement?
The fact he is obviously clueless about the matter, using the term "quantum physics" as a synonym of "magic". When the most you know of quantum physics is Schrodinger's cat and you think there was actually a cat in a box at some point, maybe don't make your story around the topic before you research it for a bit.
Jew shit story
>using the term "quantum physics" as a synonym of "magic
except he doesn't do that.
youtube.com
there are a lot of quantum mechanics concepts he smudges a bit like any sci fi fiction but is based on real concepts.
>i could have had a gf if I just invited someone for drinks
It's almost as bad as that dickhead in SOMA still not fucking understanding the concept of COPYING not TRANSFERRING his consciousness by the end of the game.
Yeah, that gave me the same vibe. Good comparison.
The porn far eclipsed the game and I'm fine with that.
Elizabeth was made for breeding.
This could actually have been you, and you'd never know it.
I forgot the name of the singer, you know the one.
Her?
I hated how they hamfisted the "le racism" bullshit into the story
I pirated and only got to the part where porn girl stabs the negress with scissors. Too many enemies felt the same and it wasn't getting any better
the ridey sky rails thing was kind of cool though
>tfw I immediately recognise that song from the newsgrounds flash animation where you got to fuck Elizabeth in various positions
Fuck I jerked off to that game so much in my Bioshock phase.
The songs ruined for the though...
What was the song in?
Nevermind. I found it.
I just fucking hate the lousy writing
>game is called bioshock infinte
>implied that there is infinite universes
>yet killing booker in one of them ends the whole reign of combstock in all of them (???)
and also
>if you've been killed in another universe, you'll bleed from your nose for some fucking reason
>every single character should be bleeding from their nose, yet they don't
Her voice is so damn hypnotic.
>You will never play this version
youtube.com
see image
it isn't lousy writing you just didn't understand it. which confirms my view that the people who hate the game just didn't understand the story and it made them feel dumb.
Cutting room floor
because of the breast reduction
yet somehow BaS shits on Infinite's already retarded ending by showing that atleast one Comstock survived anyway
Except the fact that multiple Luteces exist means there are still infinite universes splintering before the baptism. It's infinite fucking universes, you clod. There's a universe where Booker is a monkey man with an alligator head. There's a universe where he's born as Comstock. INFINITE. UNIVERSES.
It doesn't matter because infinite universes mean infinite possibilities, which means, in some universe Booker and Elizabeth are a incest couple, with a incest children, or one where Elizabeth rape little boys with her powers, or a universe where Elizabeth met a child booker and have sex with him.
The whole variable and constants is bullshit explanation for a barely thought plot.
>There's a universe where Booker is a monkey man with an alligator head. There's a universe where he's born as Comstock.
that is not what the games says
and they introduce constants and variables anyway. the baptism is a constant that if booker goes through with it it leads to comstock.
>Comstock
Read that as Cornstock and now I'm imagining BaS Liz hunting down a corn farmer in Kansas who's raising his young daughter after retiring from being a detective.
>some universe Booker and Elizabeth are a incest couple, with a incest children, or one where Elizabeth rape little boys with her powers, or a universe where Elizabeth met a child booker and have sex with him.
>ywn have a lackey you can shout at to "ATTEND" people that disturb you
No boss fight with the Songbird.
The porn is good though.
This user knows what he wants, back off
>because infinite universes mean infinite possibilities
no it doesn't
imagine an infinite set of numbers that never include the digit 4. 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 you will have an infinite variation of numbers, but never will you get 444, or 224, or 43.
>th-there's some things that always happen
Weak nonsense used by every hack science fiction story that can't properly explain multiple universes. The game is literally called "Infinite." If you seriously believe that the implication isn't that there are infinite universes, then you're calling Levine even more of a retard than I am.
Nah son, Ken Levine is just a fucking dumb hack.
Because you should've never existed in the first place

i'm not sure what you are saying your arrow points to after the point elizabeth cuts off those infinite universes.
first half of the game was fun but it went to shit after the civil war broke out
only beat it cause elizabeth was really cute and innocent and wanted to protect her
dlc was decent just cause you got to see rapture before disaster
the infinite in the title refers to the infinite number of bookers and comstocks after the baptism choice.
Bioshock infinite was about as much fun as NuDoom yet people seem to think NuDoom is good
Both are Boring Generic Modern shooters that ruin their respective franchises with stupid "Universe expanding" bullshit.
>ruin their respective franchises with stupid "Universe expanding" bullshit
this
when has anything from a franchises expanded universe ever been good
Fucking piece of shit a design.
>I hope you didn't waste all your money upgrading early weapons you fucking faggot
>Enjoy the ghost bitch
i dont hate it, it was fun for a run
i just think is very inferior to any other bioshock
>Calling Infinite 3
Neck yourself
8/10 Atmosphere
4/10 Ken-Levine plot that only brainlets think is deep
6/10 shallow gameplay
2/10 Replayabiliyy
9/10 DLC
>Cunt Elizabeth cause B:I events
That would actually be a much better plot
>elizabeth literally hit on brooker because she was attracted to him due to daddy issues
>he was literally her dad
POETIC
imagine living in the universe where Bioshock Infinite was actually a good game, it's too bad we didn't luck out this lifetime
elizabeth is a time god. all infinite variations of her are one entity at the end of the game.
the DLC was a trash cash grab that shamelessly used 'return to Rapture' to ensure all the fanboi's spent their money on it. kys for calling it good
Infinite universes doesn't mean everything that could conceivably happen happens in one of them. Some infinities are larger than others.
You're right though that Booker could absolutely become Comstock without needing the baptism in one of the universes though, and the writing is still shit.
Art and media bastardizes this theory. The more you think about multiverse, the more you realize it's impossible in this image. You also should realize that free will is an illusion and the the future is set in stone. There's no reason why parallel universe would branch off just because some hairless ape did something based on preexisting chemicals in his brain. Reality does not bend to our whim, and our actions were set out ahead of ourselves before the universe, as we know it, was born.
the only people who like bioshock infinite are waifufags
>muh religion turns people evil
could levine be anymore jewish in his hate for christianity displayed in this game
>he'snotthatbad
The original plot sounded much better.
>Rescue Elizabeth
>Civil war erupts
>Anarchist vs government
No religion involved.
> right though that Booker could absolutely become Comstock without needing the baptism in one of the universe
no this is not true because the entire existence of comstock as a person is based upon the baptism. listen to any of his audio logs. they are all based on the baptism he experienced.
it would be like saying if your parents had sex a month earlier the result would still be you. no it would be an entirely different person.
All this talk about why the games bad because of its story, but it failed at step 1: being a fun shooter. It's just incredibly bland as a video game.
Imagine being so bitter that every new and old new titles are just shit and not even passable even though there's been many great games released in the past few years.
name one(1)
Time traveling games are inherently paradoxical, get over it. It's why time traveling is impossible. You can find plot holes in literally any game involving time travel.
Do you even know how to fucking read?
People can come to the same conclusions about things through different events. Him being dipped in water wasn't required for him to hold the beliefs he did, it just so happened that's one way he could've come to believe them.
What does it matter if he ended up becoming an authoritarian through religion, or through thinking to himself on the toilet? A baptism is not some magical event that completely changes someone's thinking.
Then dont be surprised when your shit story doomed from the start is shit
Yes, but this one is still being praised by dipshits shuch as who claim the game is clever in any way
