sexy demons I guess

the thing x satanism

Baby's first dungeon crawler.

huge forma

>What i'm in for?

I hope you like long stretches of visualnovel-like non-interactive expository dialogue, user.

The best SMT game.

DOOM as a dungeon crawler

WRPG = dead studios, dead franchises
ATLUS = alive and well

Actually that new bitch they added, probably solely for waifufags, ruined the story for me.

That's not Revelations: Persona.

>WRPG = dead
Uh-huh.

Attached: 12344889445.jpg (2000x1797, 853K)

Oh man this is some good bait.

Two WRPGs no one has ever heard of and two of the most revered games ever created.
I don't get what you're trying to prove, but keep on truckin WRPG-pleb

I played this recently, and rarely have I been as frustrated with a video game. It is such a fucking slog to get through the later levels with all the teleport mazes and falling down to lower floors. Not to mention the fucking retarded all out attack system being locked behind alignments. I'm baffled at how people praise this game in any capacity.

>YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE. YOU CAN'T LIKE BOTH INTERACTIVE STORYTELLING AND VISUAL NOVELS AT THE SAME TIME!!! REEE!!!
not everything is a black and white argument. Both things can be good you fucking autists.

t. never played the actual game

I've only played the DS original but the later levels is where it gets easy.
Just capture tons of fodder demons and feed them in fusions over and over and you will have some crazy power in SMT games.

I did, only the chaos route though.

>retro WRPG
top-down shit with bad art
>retro JRPG
top-down with good art
>modern WRPG
bad looking top-down 3D shit
>modern JRPG
actual 3D game, good art

A Bizarre Adventure

Some of the most complex dungeons of the entire franchise. Good luck.

play the remake for a much less frustrating experience

>trial and error teleporter traps
>complex

>Two WRPGs no one has ever heard of and two of the most revered games ever created.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 outsold Persona 5, and did so at a fraction of the budget and development time it cost to make P5.

KEEP SEETHING.

>ATLUS = alive
How does that make their games good though?

Did you really have to trim the map maker's info off that before posting it, user? He mapped out "some of the most complex dungeons of the entire franchise" and you chopped his name and key off for no reason, you prick.

Do it yourself, you lazy faggot.
And its not too complex, but they're good dungeons.

atlus went under and got eaten by sega

>HI HA-HI HO HO HO HI-HI
>HI HA-HI HO HO HO HEH
>HI HA-HI HO HO HO HI-HI

>no animation during combat
The fuck were they thinking? Even 30-year old dungeon crawlers had animated enemy sprites.

Don't all of them have idle animations? Even if they barely and rarely amount to more than wobbling?

The space marine is definitely Doomslayer tier

It does though

You want me to somehow stop you in the past from editing a picture you searched for and removed the creator's name from for no reason, because you think giving someone a nod for their hard work is me being a lazy faggot somehow? That's retarded.

Here is the original anyway. Way to underscore your own point.

Not him, but did it really? I'm really glad Larian deserves those sales and I'm looking forward to Divinity OS 3 whenever that comes out.

wccftech.com/divinity-original-sin-2-85m-revenue-2017/

>Divinity: Original Sin 2 Generated $85M in Revenue Last Year According To SuperData Research

And that's just Steam, before the console ports.

Assuming they sold it at $60, that's less sales than Persona 5

A subpar SMT game but still an enjoyable one if you like dungeon crawlers

So you're saying Persona 5 outsold triple-A games like Battlefield 1?

From that same article:
1 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – $714M
2 Overwatch – $382M
3 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – $341M
4 Destiny 2 – $218M
5 Grand Theft Auto V – $118M
6 Battlefield 1 – $113M
7 Minecraft – $92M
8 Guild Wars 2 – $87M
9 Divinity: Original Sin 2 – $85M
10 Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege – $67M

hi zelos71

That's really great then I enjoyed both Persona for it overall style and demon fusions That the Shin Megami tensei games are known for and Divinity for how free you were to pursue each quest and combat encounter as you saw fit.

Prepare your Eridanus for some dungeon crawling.

The only JRPG worth playing.

You rarely even talk to NPCs, you idiot. Stop judging games by their first 20 minutes, or from dumbshit pictures posted here and play them yourself.
Fucking worthless.

That's not what I said at all

>what are you in for?

a long game

It's just a vocal minority that likes SJ and has convinced people that haven't played it that it's really good and those people parrot that opinion to seem like they are SMT fans

It's really not that bad actually, one of these longer and convoluted darkzone tunnels on the otherhand almost made me break my DS.

A strange journey.
