ENDERAL: FORGOTTEN STORIES

The new questlines are fucking great.

Tell me about him, why does he wear a mask?

I'm about to become a keeper. Should I start exploring the world for a while or should I follow the main quest and do the nearby optional quests?

Lot of Wrath to stab a man that is already dead

Start exploring

I'm level 43 and I just became a Keeper

Just get the gear after the initiation then fuck off and do what you want.

alright, thanks.

Downloading the mod for the first time. Is this really essentially a whole new game? Is it as good as people say?

Is Enderal worth playing? Do my choices actually affect the world or is it just a re-skinned Skyrim where I hit things with a sword through linear quests?

Attached: 1533175809925.png (696x860, 421K)

Yes. Yes.

beginning is a bit annoying since it's a succession of unskippable cutscenes. Although once it's done it's a genuinely fanastic mod. Entirely new map, new skills and leveling system, writing is good enough. Really fun to explore.

There are three ending and 2-3 endings for most of the story quests. And some choices in the story line. And the approval system.

Did it actually come out finally?

Nice thanks anons. I need a new rpg adventure game to play.

Beginning is fine, it just needs a mod to start on the beach.

It released on feb 14th on Steam my man.

Attached: 1551109687071.jpg (1920x1080, 718K)

so how am I supposed to deal with the fever? Do I have to stock up on Ambrosia?

Ambrosia

Attached: 20190224182524_1.jpg (1920x1080, 278K)

Is it only on Steam? I never legit owned Skyrim and the old version didn't need it.

One path gets you an ability to drop maybe 15% a day as a power. You easily stock up Ambrosias if you routinely cook food. A good alternative to healing is the drain life spells.

Attached: 20190224140956_1.jpg (1920x1080, 300K)

Yeah I like to think of it as just fallout radiation but more annoying since literally any type of healing increases it

iirc drain life augment the fever

Are the phantom talismans worth it? I just got Rogar one eye and put him in the heaviest armor I could make and he still dies in a few measly hits when not blocking, atleast its a decent distraction

Yes.

Excellent mod, even better than Nehrim in some aspects. Sadly Skyrim combat remains dogshit and some stuff is hilariously overpowered (any kind of magic more or less breaks the game, no matter the difficulty).

That was unnecessary.

Attached: 1550417021767.jpg (3840x1600, 2.46M)

I find it weird the voice acting can be downright amazing to hilariously bad

Nope. It's great to top yourself off or to fuel a death spell. Thaumaturgy is great utility.

What ability is that and where do you get it?
Ambrosia is fucking expensive man.

Id play it but the game keeps crashing all the time

Yeah, it's definitely a roller coaster. When it's good, it's really good (Tealor). When it's bad, it's really bad (lishari, some of the kids, that baker woman in the foreign quarter). Thankfully most of the main characters have great voices.

Look in one of the mage skill trees I believe it's under mentalism/light magic

You can torrent it.

Quicksave is your friend. Especially when entering crowded areas like the market or inns. I think it's mostly the Skyrim AI engine chocking on its own cock.

it's probably from thaumaturgy
I'm aiming for an arcane archer but I think I invested to much in elementalism instead of sinistrope. Then again the mod doesn't seem to hard so I doubt I'll need to minmax

lishari seems okay, she's just the "edgy swearing mean woman". Jasper's VA is good too.

Oh, guess that makes sense. Someone investing into that would have even more fever problems than other mages.

i didnt much care for enderall but i appreciate the effort that went into it

I'm going for sneaky mage and feel like I fucked up, can't do shit with one handed, I die to a stiff breeze and my mana empties before I can even kill one enemy

close combat sneak is indeed broken (in the bad way) in this mod. What did you invest into? You might still be able to save your build.

Stands are very useful, but you basically have to work as a tag team with them. Two shield bashers is a really fun combo, for example.

muh scrolls

Infiltrator/elementalism currently for damage but I hope to get more into psionics once I get more spell books, also put some points into the phantom stuff because that looked cool

>STEAM
Where do i download it without having to give money to Todd? Way too lazy to mess with it.

I'm not a native speaker so my hearing works differently, but I don't see anything bad about Lishari's voice. Merchant woman and a boy who give you the first sidequests in the game are insufferable, for example I think it's the same voice actor.

I might drop the infiltrator part since sneak is so worthless in this game and just go full mage though

Just buy a key for oldrim from resellers for like 3 bucks

*AHEM*
FUCK KILÉANS AND FUCK KILÉ

Attached: 20190225200142_1.jpg (1680x1050, 285K)

Can I just say how amazing ark is? Despite all the loading screens that's what an awesome city should be

This. And ignore psionics when you go elementalist. Rather focus on thaumaturgy to up your survivability.

Then again you could go up the sinistra tree, too for summons and later pick black mage synergy.

So, how many draugr do you have to kill in this game?

en.wiki.sureai.net/Enderal:Classes
you can go black mage or shadow dancer (black mage is probably the better option)
use the sneak you invested to steal shit and make a lot of money

In my 36 hours so far I've come across 3 draugr all of which weren't apart of the main quest at all

>quicksaving in a bethesda game
Next you're going to tell me that you use quickload too and you overwrite existing saves when doing hard saves.

Attached: PF9QDWQ.png (976x760, 828K)

Wolves and highwaymen are the draugr of this game.

Ark is very well designed and beautiful, but its layout feels too chaotic. I liked the capital in Nehrim much more, to be honest.

And skellingtons.

Cool thanks shadow dancer looks sweet but I think I'll go black mage

btw where is the crypt in ark? I heard it's skeleton fest down there

Either noble barrack or south quarter I forget

Yea I don't know why they fucking included a tutorial, anyone playing enderal has already played Skyrim

>the undercity was confusing before fs and now I can't navigate in it for shit
H-Help

Attached: 1537496343504.jpg (333x324, 29K)

>I liked the capital in Nehrim much more

Which? Baratheon's or that other one capital on the side of the mountain?

barrack district

What level should I be at to start taking on the 3 star quests? I'm still trying to find more 2 star

That moment when you approach the Ark for the first time with Jespar was great. Made me go "yup, that's a city alright.".

Attached: 1551028928766.jpg (1920x1080, 617K)

There's also an entrance in the undercity market through the corpse pile

I no longer trust quicksaves or autosaves in Bethesda games. Full saves in a new slot everytime.

Baratheon's. Northern capital is basically a straight line, while desert as a whole feels extremely rushed.

Is there a way to stop the absurd hp reg on stronger monsters?

Pretty sure that's a job for poison, or find what element they're weak to and use that

Well, it's not crashing as much as Fallout 3 did for me. And it doesn't corrupt save files from my experience.

Still no excuse for having such a shit engine but I guess in the sewers a drop of fresh water is gold.

Kill them until they die.

Now that's a great phrase

Attached: 1501606069179.jpg (990x659, 333K)

Skeleton City you mean.

Attached: 20190221032829_1.jpg (1920x1080, 444K)

Is there a reason that quicksaves and autosaves are so easily corrupted?
Is it because scripts are still active and get bugged out in the save file?

0w0
thanks

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1920x1080, 178K)

Dreameater is breddy gud. I blast an enemy 3 times with Psychosis for damage over time and then a dreameater for the 2x damage and I'm dropping fuckers left and right.

Be prepared when you venture into the crypt. I wasn't prepared.

Attached: woa-shit-59f3c500d4c41.png (414x479, 329K)

This is fucking fun.

Attached: SS3.jpg (1920x1080, 1.74M)

Love the game but only true complaint is how you have to buy your skill points

Does this mod have comfy houses you can obtain?

Currently 2, one in nobles quarter that I assume is nice but out of the way and a shitty one in marketplace but literally right next to shops , both are surprisingly cheap

Alright fine, Yea Forums, I'll download the mod
Is there anything I should know going into this? What sets it apart from regular old Skrim besides different setting and lore?

Also you can freely decorate your house anyway you want with almost none of that "item magically appears and never moves again" skyrim house stuff

>Gothic fanboys making a Bethesda style RPG

Attached: index.jpg (239x211, 8K)

>using mesmerizer to get that sweet discount, saved thousands on learning books
>accidently use psychosis instead of dream eater and all the guards attack me, last save was 20 minutes ago
kill me

Not really, just progress the plot and exploration as usual unless you want a secret ending and you don't
Also keep in mind that there's no respec, so spend your points wisely.

And unsurprisingly it blows anything Bethesda could shit out straight out of the water

Is going right to exploring immediately not recommended? How far into the plot should I progress before I really start to look around?

Is this running on original skyrim graphics, or are there any mods included?

It's really fascinating ho applying Gothic RPG formula even to Skyrim dogpile of shit engine can make interesting and fun game.

It's all really is in the foundational design, unless Bethesda gives up their shit, TES6 will be just Skyrim 2

Can I avoid this?
I dropped the plate in a bush but they still find it.

Attached: Desktop Screenshot 2019.02.25 - 20.46.16.78_1.jpg (1920x1080, 1.53M)

Do it in sections, get to the first village then explore everything you past on the way there, get to the main city and explore the areas around it while branching out when quests need you to, that's what I've been doing atleast

>just Skyrim 2
You mean Enderal?
Seriously this shit is functionally identical. You people are insane.

No, Enderal looks much nicer than vanilla Skyrim. Enderal comes packaged with around 100 mods so, yeah.

Wait until they give your a title of the keeper and then feel free to explore stuff. Shit will get real after returning from Duneville, which is a couple of quests later.

Death to all Jews and Muslims......

No, it's scripted.

Are there Spiders? pls no

How does the world size/content volume compare to Skyrim itself?

Alright
Since no respec are any classes or playstyles more viable than others? I read one user say sneak melee is broken so it has me wondering.

Tons of them.

Yeah same spiders like the ones in skyrim but they're much rarer, you'll know when you start getting close to a spider lair

rip, I guess no play

I think the devs that the landmass is 2/3rd of Skyrim, which seems to be fairly accurate but the world itself is much more dense.

>Seriously this shit is functionally identical. You people are insane.
Are you retarded? I just pointed out it's the same engine.

Just applying more RPG mechanics, different world and quest design and athmosphere and progression makes up for it.

Sadly I doubt replying to moron like you who couldn't read first post could understand this one.

I think there's a mod that replaced spiders with something else

Yeah that was me sneak seems to suck in that enemies can spot you from miles away even if you're behind stuff not to mention some dungeons have enemies literally standing on top of you the second you enter them

Almost any playstyle you come up with is viable. Some styles just take more time before they become "good". When it doubt, go sword and board.

yeah but they're not scary. They're brown and the kind of bulky, like a crab. Not fond of spiders at all but these aren't scary at all.

>more RPG mechanics
Like?
It doesn't actually add anything gameplay-wise. You just pretend it does and act like that illusion is a significant improvement,

yeah it's denser but there's a lot more quests/dungeons in Skyrim (although most of them are shit)

>yeah but they're not scary
I almost lost my shit in Kor's quest, mate...

Good to know, so going rogue is out of the question

Is the magic any better? Would going full wizard be a better alternative than a spellsword or mystic knight?

>german fantasy

Attached: Desktop Screenshot 2019.02.25 - 00.31.21.74_1.jpg (1920x1080, 1.59M)

I don't think I've done that yet. Personally the bigger they are the less scary they get. It's the tiny ones (

sounds like something I know (can't remember what)

Is it normal to spend 6 hours in the first area and not reaching the first village yet? This game rewards exploration too much so I feel the need to look over everything.

sneak is better combined wih archery (OP)
full wizard is better than battle mage or seraph imo, especially since melee combat might get boring after 50 hours.

I'm having fun playing as a spell sword but the start is painful since your still weak, I'm not entirely sure if skyrim armor restrictions (magic and heavy armor don't mix etc) is applied in enderal since even robes are considered light armor

they found a way to put a damn train in the game?

Attached: ebin.png (507x464, 50K)

Why the fuck you fags so scared of spiders? Man up, god damn it.

Redpill me on germans and trains. Why are they so obsessed with trains?

They also put a train in Nehrim.

You can fit more jews on them

how can crypt even exist in a town where burying the dead is forbidden? Its not even hidden

Genetic countrywide autism

no you can definitely wear heavy armor with magic since there are two synergies that do that. Elementalism+Vandal/Keeper and Thaumaturgy+Vandal/Keeper, although I find that playstyle kind of boring

I think jaspar mentioned nobles still bury their dead and I bet the crypt was there long before that law was put into place?

Uuuh, Hans get ze ziklon ve hav a passenger for ze train.

It's forbidden if you are not rich.

is being a stealth archer as OP is it was in Skrim because as creative as I'd like to be I'd hate to dump my points into something that will make a shit build

I'd love if they aren't because I've in the mood for a Sauron build (heavy armor w/ destruction/conjuration) for awhile
Does heavy armor look cooler then light armor in Enderal because Skyrim's only good looking light armor is assassin/theives guild armor.

Why are you accumulating it so much? Only use healing potion/spells when you're getting screwed in combat, otherwise always use food or sleep to regen health

If you're needing heal potions all the time then you're probably fighting things that are too strong or not wearing good enough armor or getting hit to much or just used to drinking 5 pots after every fight like in Skyrim.

Wait, you can find books for talent tree spells?
And it asks for memory points?
What's the point

Attached: Desktop Screenshot 2019.02.25 - 21.15.12.92_1.jpg (1920x1080, 531K)

Well they certainly got different sets but I'm not sure what you consider looks good, I personally think the "fine steel" set looks cool as a low level set, I'm sure there's much better options later in the game

That's one of the three hidden talents you can find in the game.

How to upgrade enchanted gear? Is some level in handicraft enough or do i need perks?
they are unique and cant be learned by themselves

There's a skill in the phantasm or whatever it's called skill tree that lets you upgrade enchanted stuff it's like the third one

The german voice acting actually sounds very good. I presume it's developed by germans since otherwise I don't see why it would have german voice acting.

Well I'm the kind of guy that thinks the Blades armor, steel plate, and heavy Dawnguard armor are the best looking sets in the game so take that as you may
From the few pics and webms I saw Enderal has some pretty simplistic and medieval looking armor so if that is what Enderal is filled with then this mod is right up my alley

Attached: Magnus Vult.jpg (693x983, 57K)

How play if I dont have classic Skyrim?

I'm still amazed that there's people out there that don't have oldrim on steam.

>Keeper set looks kino
>Its worse even than selna
>later heavy sets look infinitely worse
i hate this shit

I have a potato, it runs Skyrim fine. Would I run the mod fine ?

Attached: 505.png (453x668, 129K)

yeah

yeah u would run it just fine. its not like it makes some cuhrayzee graphix changes and shit

>TFW the dual class that's literally modeled after Darth Vader uses a Sword and Board style.

Why do Two handers suck so badly?

Can I pirate skyrim and play this?

Do Mods work with this shit? What are the essential mods to go with it

There's steam workshop for it already but it's empty i also hear normal skyrim mods work with some extra work

You could use a sword and spell instead of a shield. You'll only waste one memory on a block only perk, the rest are heavy armor up to the top. Then you can do psychic shockwaves in combat or death magic on range.

I see a lot of people asking about compatible mods so here
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14-MKaetJVXjL_QtfCg-XnNTg_lMHFiFt45E3O3mc9iI/edit#gid=975940351

You don't even get a good set for two-handers and I haven't found a unique greatsword either. Also the the "blade master" class that requires to dump points into one-handed if you want a mediocre bonus to damage is the most retarded decision.
Seriously, how is it possible that there isn't a heavy armor + two handed class? Do they simply hate non-magical characters that don't spend points in stealtharchery?

Is sword/shield any different from skyrim in this? I always go S&S in games, and skyrim was one of the more fun ones.

Selna's set is for 2h.

Probably because Two Handed weapons are so inherently shit that they didn't want to bother trying to fix it. They can only do so much with the engine.

what was your level and build when you killed it? I kept getting 1-shot by it but I'm looking forward to the rematch

Enchanting has the most affect combat wise, you can craft some truly absurd bonuses + Phasmalist trinkets require Enchanting. Tier 1 and 2 souls aren't that great but Tier 4 and 5 souls can pretty much solo the game for you.

Should I go Sword n Board or Stealth Archer?

Could I mod this mod for Skyrim?
I want to play it with body mods, SAM and pretty HD textures for stuff.

Attached: Wolf_Normal.jpg.4a81314878c5b7f4bf98fc51ffaa4051.jpg (800x800, 215K)

You can. Most of body-meshes-textures mods work just fine.

Do I play this with a sword and shield character, or play dragons dogma with a new character?

Yeah but SAM is a bit special because it also does stuff like randomize body shapes for specific types of NPCs, which could be an issue if there are special NPC types I would imagine.
But what about something like object textures or grass and trees?
And is Skyrim actually present or is it pointless to mod something like cities, general gameplay, etc.?

readthe game comes packaged with a fuck ton of mods already, just try it out and see if you really want to add more on top of it.

Do you actually have to find 5 eggs or can you just buy 5?

>five
Lmaoing
You need to find 5+4+4+4 eggs in various parts of Enderal to finish this quest

There is no Skyrim. There is only Vyn. Anything tailored specifically for Skyrim will not work at all or only in a malfunctioning manner.

Well fuck that shit then

You can use a walktrough, it's on wiki. The first 5 eggs are the most hard to find ones

They can all be found near the fast travel towers. Then you only need to follow the birds and done.

Dang thanks a lot for pointing that out!

Is there a phasmalist soul you can net in the cave of savages where you have to hunt down the Rhatam runaway who can't see faces anymore? I'm hearing ghostly whispers around her but I can't find a fucking thing.

Do you have the perks for all level souls?

Does this work on pirated skyrim?

>Id play it but the game keeps crashing all the time
Same here, I love it but holy fuck, no matter what I do or change in the settings, it crashes probably once every 30-60 minutes.

Thankfully it only takes like 5 seconds to jump back into the game, but it's still annoying as shit

Turn off one tweak in the settings, I've been crashing a lot less, at most once an hour.

Whats the most BASED class?

How do you actually start the Rhalata questline? do you have to do every arena fight first or did I just miss something when I was exploring the Undercity?

Seraph. Heavy armor, sword and board, light magic and mentalism. Boost yourself up and slap down everything while laughing at their meek attacks.

Walk blessed. Literally.

one handed light armor elementalism and entropy

It's Steam workshop only but there's a ready to play version of Forgotten Stories on cs rin ru.

But Jespar is just like me!
Intelligent, nihilistic with a wicked sense of humor.

I just started this shit, can I get a quick rundown on the races? What's the difference between the Kilenian and Arazealean?

I only know Arazeleans get a magic related passive, and I think every race gets some specific dialogues from some npcs.

I have no fucking clue, I'm sure they do something but I've played as three different races and only noticed occasional differences in dialogue

Okay, from the discription I feel like a Arazealean is more of a race built around melee but I might be wrong. Can you respec at all if decide to go a mage or battlemage and decide to go fully one or the other?

The races have very minor bonuses to some stats, you can pretty much ignore it honestly.

I might be wrong then, aren't arazealean the ones that look like elves?

who the fuck sells entropy / psionics books besides the mechanic in Ark
they can't seriously expect me to sleep entire weeks to restock and get to 25 to talk to shrouded mages, right?

The whole story is stupid, don't think too much about it.

>Implying
There are so few speech checks in this game, what the fuck.

I'm just curious if her interfering with the cycle is also caused by the death of Sarantha (aka Fate) in Nehrim

>master skill books are over 1000 pennies
What were they thinking?

People calling the plot of Enderal shit have never played Nehrim my dude. Also yes, it's very likely the cause.

Endgame content. You need to spend your money on something

I tried this mod after seeing a thread about it yesterday and holy fuck it's kicking my ass

>Leave the starting quest thing
>Start heading towards the only quest I have so far which is to find a lockbox some asshole threw in the sea
>Suddenly wolves, so many wolves
>Barely kill the wolves by abusing AI
>Turn a corner, face to face with a bear
>It kills me instantly
>Try another way
>Six million skeletons
>Every dungeon is full of trolls
>Last night hit another bear and died instantly

It's fun but jesus I can't tell if I'm just shit or if I went the wrong way.

Is sword and shield fun in this shit?

>open up the Forgehammer vault in the bank
>filled with like a dozen ingots of various rarity
>pick up one
>all the rest clip through the floor and disappear

Attached: grr.png (502x543, 188K)

She also acknowledges that the current state of events in Enderal is pretty much reality because this is one of the world from the sea of eventualities
I have no idea what the fuck is going on anymore
And how sane the prophet is anyway

Attached: 20190224151947_1.jpg (2560x1440, 2.07M)

I'll be much easier at later levels.

do different vendors or areas have different prices in skyrim or this mod? i want to be a merchant

It's just a lot more difficult than vanilla Skyrim and takes some getting used to it. Just like Skyrim, you'll eventually find a way to cheese it somehow

Open console
tcl
Grab the ingots that fell
Open console again
Tcl
Close console

Dunno about skyrim but merchants buy and sell for the same price everywhere in enderal.

>a watchdog whistling the black guardian song in duneville

jesus why even have banking if you aren't gonna flesh out the (((money making)))

I like it, yeah.

But that ruins my immersion

I'll just pretend it was an anti-theft measure

>one of the ambient pieces is the x-files theme played slowly

What the fuck were they thinking with the endings? The escape ending is a million times more logical than the destroy ending, and the secret ending is just dumb. It seems germans just can't finish what they start, whether it be stories or killing jews.

Holy shit

Attached: 15411919475430.jpg (200x191, 8K)

What was the secret ending anyway?

Just started, I know the devs are German, I was wondering if I could switch the voiceacting to German, or is english the only option? I checked everywhere in the options. Just want to get a more authentic experience.

>If you collected a Dreamflower in the eventuality, Yuslan will recognize it and warn you against making a Dreamflower Elixir. He claims that all books written about it are wrong, and that it simply puts you in a coma once drunk, then urges you to give the Dreamflower to him so he can purify it and make a beneficial potion. If you agree, you can collect a purified Dreamflower Elixir after two in-game days from him, which gives a permanent boost to Entropy, Psionics, and Health. If you decline, you can later use the Separation Pot in the Rhalâta Temple to craft the non-purified Dreamflower Elixir and drink it, unlocking a new ending.
>implying it puts you in coma immediately (it doesn't)
>implying yuslan isn't lying piece of shit and he's the only one who knows the truth and all books are just wrong
Yeah, no, I'm not buying it, faggot. Gonna have my happy ending.

I heard that while sneaking through a spooky forrest and it scared the shit out of me

>I lead them to the light, I alone
absolute kino lads.

This quest will begin after Catharsis if you completed Secrets, collected a Dreamflower during A Drop in the Ocean, refused to let Yuslan Sha'Rim take the Dreamflower, brewed a non-purified Dreamflower Elixir with the Substance Decomposer in The Father's room (which is only accessible after starting Dark Chambers of our Mind), and drank it.

You will wake up in a strange location, where your companion (Jespar or Calia) awaits you. They will be amazed that you actually woke up, since you've apparently been asleep for two weeks. They reveal that you are in Qyra, awaiting an audience with the Golden Queen, to tell her about The Cycle, The High Ones, and The Beacon. All of Enderal was destroyed in the explosion of the Beacon, and nothing is left but a wasteland.

When it all happened, your companion had just arrived in Qyra, and yet they had the urge to go back, for you. You were apparently found under some rocks, in the middle of the destruction, but still alive. Together now, you'll be able to warn the rest of the world of The High Ones' plans and break the cycle...

At least that's what you hope. Yuslan warned you that the Dreamflower Elixir would put you in a permanent coma, where you'd merely dream of being able to achieve all your goals. But, in the end, he turned out to be a traitor that lied on many occasions. Did you really survive, or is this just a dream, and you're lying on the floor at the spot where you drank the Dreamflower elixir? Either way, as your companion says, "if this is a dream, I don't want to ever wake up".

After all, what is reality anyway?

Just started, left it off right after meeting Jespar and agreeing to question Yero's friend and find the strongbox. How brotier is Jespar throughout? Right now he seems like a bro.

He's intelligent, nihilistic, and has a wicked sense of humor. Overall he's alright and decently well-written if not a bit self-inserty.

>new questlines
Oh, I was wondering what all these threads were about. Didn't Enderal come out like 1.5 years ago? What else did they add?

Sounds kinda lame, I think I'll stick to my fuck-off-into-the-clouds ending

Protip to newcomers Never ask a wishing well for money

>tfw he was right
wow this is really bad

Bro as fuck

Admit it, you just want to be Adam/Eve

he's mostly a cool guy, but he can be a bit of a faggot sometimes (literally and figuratively)

Really disappointed they didn't do anything more with that Brotherhood of Kor quest, that shit got me really spooped the first time I played it and I was hoping they were gonna finish it properly

I see a lot of people talking about a character named... Castila? Or something like that.
What is special and likeable about her?

Play as a girl. Problem solved.

Calia? She's the designated waifu companion. You meet her when you join the order.

Played about two hours so far. It is slightly better than Skyrim but not worlds better. Also are there staves in this game? If so that changes everything.

>That one magical symbol at the bottom of goldenford cliffs

I want to strangle the dev who put that there

You could if you have the add item menu.

>the father has female walking animation
>and kinda a tranny voice
What did they mean by that

Attached: 1548781857431.jpg (310x313, 60K)

What's going on?

Can I play this shit on Oldrim? fuck the special edition. And if I do buy Oldrim, will I need the DLC for Enderal as well?

>Catposter is only reasonable user in this thread
We're through the looking glass here people

he's definitely a writer self-insert

I fucking knew it.

Attached: 20190226113253_1.jpg (2560x1440, 515K)

It's only for oldrim, so yeah. Nope, no DLCs needed.

this is only for oldrim. SE can suck a fat one.
no clue about the DLC tho. and if it needs them, you can just pirate them, plop them into skyrims data folder and be happy with it.

it's almost like different people like different things. huh

Attached: 20190226021649_1.jpg (1920x1080, 230K)

Two, male and female.

you can play this only if you have oldrim (no dlc needed) on your steam account

Shit I thought you were talking about crispy meat father. I was so confused.

That mayor who put pussy on a pedestal, what ending did you choose?

Are Arazealeans white?

Attached: 20190225184429_1.jpg (1680x1050, 421K)

That's Daddy, not The Father.
I still don't know why the fuck did it took this name if it doesn't like genders.

what level should I be to explore Skeleton city the crypt in ark?

Confirmed sjw trash, miss me with that gay shit cuck shills.

can someone explain enchantments to me please? how do I create or apply an enchantment to a weapon? Also can I improve enchanted weapons? Also what's the best way to fill gems?

Thanks bros. Now I'm curious, how is the steam version of oldrim in terms of modding? is modding not disrupted by having the steam DRM? I have had issues with modding on the steam version of oblivion, issues I never had on my old DVD copy. I might just be retarded though.

Can I play this if I only have Oldrim and it's pirated? Does it support Oldrim ENBs?

Does this vfersion have a fucking happy ending yet?

just get the nexus mod manager (now called vortex) and it's literally just click and go.
Or go here: tesgeneral.com/skyrim-guide and read a bit about things. it's not 100% up to date, so look around

also, Lycanthrope is baller AF. only annoying part is aiming and looting afterwards

Attached: 20190226005142_1.jpg (1920x1080, 673K)

how do i start the rahlta questline?

i'm level 18, still havnt figured out how

no I don't think there is any difference between pirated and steam version in terms of modding.

Adam and Steve with my bro Jespar

>this is supposed to put you in coma
>a dreamflower, which is reportedly makes you more powerful and grants you a happy life
>2 cups of glimmerdust (Weakens magical energy, Resist magic, Weakness for poison, Paralysis), which is also a very popular drug

>just a soul gem
Fucking really, Yuslan? I'm not that stupid to believe that shit.

Attached: 20190226113618_1.jpg (2560x1440, 274K)

Undercity arena

Just use Mod Manager. No problems with steam ever, it's the most heavily modded game after all.

...

So what's a good build? I started going with lycanthropy, did I fuck up?

nude modes for Enderal?

Are the last couple of paragraphs your head canon, or they actually do directly hint at the Inception thing?

Trust me goy, there's nothing wrong with the potion. Bottoms up!

Is there a mod to delete spiders
Its not that im scared of them its that my pc crashes whenever it sees a skyrim spider and has done so for over 5 years

I have never used a key reseller websites, which ones are credible?

>cant be a vampire
Never dropped a game so fast in my entire life.

Oh I do believe there's nothing wrong with the potion, and I also believe that Yuslan is a faggot who doesn't want the cycle to stop.

>wanting to be a true edgelord
why though. at least being a lycan makes you a cool alchemist

Sure m8, totally believe you.

>dreaming of family being burned to a fucking crisp
>best friend stabbed in front of you
To top it all off you're not even real

Being the Prophet is suffering. Just do Catharsis and save you and your character pain.

It's from the wiki, which is made by FS betatesters and devs.

Did you even play FS? There are tons of people who "aren't real" at this point.

Is there something I should play before this or does it not matter?

completely stand-alone. just download and go. don't play Phasmalist right now as it's not very good

Anything that isn't ranged fucking sucks. General-use mage is wildly OP.

Of course i did, user. Why do you think every npc is a fucking nutcase.

>Dad

Anyone have trouble getting it to launch? When I click "start enderal" skyrim launches to a black screen and then just crashes to desktop. I've deleted my skyrim folder, reinstalled both and restarted steam and my PC. Any ideas?

Every person irl is a fucking nutcase

spells are always op. i'm playing a Throat Ripper Lycan/Infiltrator and stealth with dagger or claws is satisfying as fuck.
7.5x multiplier on a ~100+ damage base is nuts.

Try disabling enboost or/and onetweak in settings

I cannot argue with that.

Thanks, got it

What? Do we want them to clamp down on video game discussion on Yea Forums?

DON'T DO IT user

Attached: 7b9.jpg (326x326, 18K)

Where did you get the soul gems?

There are a few references to Nehrim (i.e. Taranor, Tealor's background and past, mentions of the Lightborn), but Enderal is for the most part standalone.

In random places. Didn't use soul trapping for once. Is there even an enchantment for it in enderal?

I feel like the werewolve class is a mess. I combined it with vagabond. What other class tree shall I take now?

There is a soul trap spell in Enthropy and F R E E soul trap on summoned weapons talent at the end of Enthropy tree.

I'll try phantasmalism
>Need to find souls, a crafting station, ectoplasm, bonedust, soulgems and a dagger to make a basic bitch apparition
>To equip your apparition with anything you need to give it gear and even more gems, dust and plasm
>Better Apparitions also require massive enchantment investments
>All this for a subpar follower who can't carry my shit.
I'll try Lycanthropy
>Have to make and drink temporary potions which raise arcane fever to be a werewolf
>My wolf stats are barely any better than my regular stats
>Also I can't cast spells or use a bow
Fuck this back to stealth archery.

how do you fast travel using signs? it tells me i can't fast travel at this time. i accidentally immediately closed the little tutorial popup on this subject.

This is shilling for donations, fuck off. The other threads had blatant requests for donations.
>IF YOU LIKE THE GAME YOU CAN DONATE!
>IT'S FREE BUT THEY TAKE DONATIONS
>*WINK*
Fuck off, kraut.

>Lycanthropy
>Chug potions and become god.

wait can i just keep sleeping to rack up interest gold in the bank?

Shieet, I need 6 more levels for it and I'm level 42, almost 43 right now.

This is a really nice bug.

His political views are a bit retarded.

How so?

I want to use enchanting but set bonuses seem to actively discourage it.

he's an hedonist and a nihilist at the same time

Can't see a problem.

>Sitting in tavern with Jespar
>He's moralising his life virtue of seeking pleasure for the sake of it
>Your replies are to agree strongly, agree, not have an opinion or disagree without a counterargument causing him to dislike that.
Fuck you devs, a life of hedonism leads to feelings of unfulfillment as all your friends who chose to work and build leave a lasting legacy while you age until you can no longer enjoy your fun and have nothing to show for your life's work.

You're not real hedonist and nihilist then.

>life's work
>implying that matters once the high ones come knocking.

>Played Nehrim
>Was fun but the story turned into a pretentious mess with every lightborne rambling on about fate
Does the plot of this one stay grounded?

I'm not sure you fully realize what means "not giving a fuck about other people's opinions and goals".

It's full of Jung and philosophizing, but you aren't gonna be Kratos and the killer of Fate, no.

No. get me a CRISP PIECE OF MEAT

The plot does sorta tumble down after Tealor decides on leaving you to activate the Beacon

can you use any other mods with this?

This is the theme song of the mini-boss you fight before the last battle in the Rhalata questline.

Is psyionics damage even comparitable to elemtalism? I want to go sinastrope but the spells just seem weak, and the pets ai is trash

the point of psionics is for shit like frenzy and fear, not damage

Thought so. Well, I'm gonna hear it soon then.

Psionics takes a bit to get going but is really good with a bit of investment. Mesmerizing opponents using Psychosis is alright at low levels, but at higher levels the resistance reduction combined with the bonus sneak attack damage for dream eater allows you to take like half of a bosses health before they can even react

Then what about entropy? To have shit damage compared to elementalism but also damage yourself in the process?

God i fucking hate Dijam Onerys

>First thing she does is complain because she isn't being pampered 24/7
>Acts offended and insults you right after spying on a private meeting in a place you were invited to
>Tries to get you to betray wholesome old man because of a retarded "NO U" argument
>Decides to spill some innocent worker blood in addition to her menstrual.
>If you side with her she steals a priceless artifact and lets wholesome old man get the autismo while pretty much destroying enderal's last big guild.

Entropy is for using Stealth Archery with a Summon Bro. Don't pick up the Summon Abomination Mythical spell because it is ass. It's essentially a stationary summon, you can hardly ever get it to summon because of it's picky as hell space requirement, and it lasts too fucking short

For the love of Malphas, do not pick up Abomination, he is not a Bro. Do something better with your life and take something like Summon Soil Elemental. Don't make the same mistake as I did.

Should I use the overhaul mod for a first playthrough?
Also, is the Morrowind total conversion worth playing? I'm already planning on playing Nehrim

How long does it take for merchants to reset? Slept like a week and no new learning books yet.

I am and am having a bitch of a time with skeletons sponging my damage only to slap my shit in three hits.
>Also, is the Morrowind total conversion worth playing?
It's vapour ware.

they reset in a day for me, just visit the other merchants/leave the area and do shit.

you probably need to be away from the city, at least that's what the tip says

the overhaul is shit desu, ignore it. Enderal's combat and gameplay is for the most part serviceable or even good thanks to the power of german autism

Alright, thanks dudes.

>Summon Soil Elemental
that thing is a beast. the bear summon can be retarded and sometimes won't fit through doors. The ice elemental is higher level than the bear but it has 10% of the bear's health and does 5% of the bear's damage.

Dude
Nehrim's protag literally killed all the gods. And also the Fate, but that's another story.

Like I said, it's a popular drug, but nothing more.

>Need to find souls, a crafting station, ectoplasm, bonedust, soulgems and a dagger to make a basic bitch apparition
You literally have every single of those things lying in Yero's house. Except for bonedust, but the Lost Ones are available in huge quantities around this place.

Never ever in my enderal life I was so happy I'm an archer

Attached: 20190226140837_1.jpg (2560x1440, 314K)

lmao imagine being a backseat jannie

If you lived in Germany, you'd curse god too.

Any tips for early game? I am getting bodied by anyone with range and I am poor as fuck.

Roam beaches and kill crabs. Kill maybe one mob in groups then run away. Use food out of combat for healing.

Use literally anything at your disposal, at low levels you usually haven't invested enough into a specific class or playstyle to be able to just use that playstyle. Archery is good since you can get that 2x sneak damage and take chunks out of the enemies health without having to use mana or get in close.

Go into your settings menu and scroll all the way down, there should be a little box which you might wanna check. The box you wanna check is "Git Gud".

Are there survival mechanics in this game? Frostfall stuff like warmth and coldness, as well as hunger thirst and sleep? I just cant play an rpg without hunger and thirst. Im autistic

He liked you I take it?

Summon ai is so dogshit in this game. My elementals 1/2 the time just stand there, 1/4 the time actual walk AWAY from the threat, and only 1/4 the time they actually do wtf they are supposed to do. Fucking pathetic.

Yep. Father is immortal fuck so it doesn't really matter in the end, he still succeeds.

Is it, but goes better than I thought 1.5 years after the first pt

Prophets who've got the wolf, where is it exactly?

Thanks.

What a faggot the father is, jesus christ. Thanks SureAI for not showing the best room in game just because you don't have paintings for it.

Also fuck that, I can't do that. Pet-maid it is then.

Attached: 20190226154417_1.jpg (2560x1440, 730K)

Should I play it in German or English? (Native lvl in both)

Ever since I joined the Order I've been a lot more interested in the story, but it still feels like its got its head up its ass. I just finished the Black Stones quest, but I reloaded the save before giving Lexil the last one because I wanted to do all the sidequests I had been racking up and it looked like something big was about to happen. Jespar is ok, but he's not my kind of character. Sucks about his sister. I didn't have enough trust points with him because I didn't do his quests so he told me to fuck off when I went to go see him afterwards, oh well. Calia is more interesting to me even tho she's definitely waifubait. I actually did not see that twist at the end of her Black Stone quest coming. I just finished Esme's quest, interesting stuff, we'll see where it goes from there. Dark Valley was creepy and cool. I actually wish it had more skeletons and Lost Ones roaming around. I'm going to do some more sidequests and then eventually move on with the main quest.

Attached: history past and future of elder scrolls.png (900x1700, 219K)

>I actually wish it had more skeletons and Lost Ones roaming around.
I hope you visited the crypt already.

What is up with the performance in this game?

It's shit. Try to put your shadows settings to medium.

I haven't. Only was there for Esme's and Erica's quest. DIdn't roam around too much. I'll go through there later. It's really refreshing to see different environments, Skyrim was really starting to wear on me. I forgot to mention, Reyneus' quest gave me a feel. I forgot to check if the painting was still there before I left, but I doubt it.

Attached: 1485862960091.jpg (352x352, 13K)

Jespar is absolutely nailed in English version, but other than that I think I would prefer the original if there was a choice.
Nehrim felt very unique because of the German VA, after all.

It's like Dragon's Dogma, really. English Grigori is definitely one of the best pieces of voice acting ever this, and I also love Seneschal's performance, but overall Japanese version is more pleasant to hear.

>The Father says that 500 coins is a rel good sum for clearing out the temple
Are you fucking kidding me?

Attached: 1433103351589.jpg (381x468, 32K)

The dodge mod should have been implemented in the base game, since npcs still do the attacking homing

Just wondering if casting elementalism spells and buff yourself with thaumaturge can get through the game? I want to play a kind of wizard character, but don't really want to have to worry about summons.
A few more questions about a pure mage. Is dual casting worth it at all (it definitely wasn't worth it for damage spells in skyrim). Are there enchantments that increase your damage to your spells (since as far as I can tell, raising your elementalism levels via books does nothing). Last question, is fire kind of useless? Frostwind seems so powerful, and chain lightning seems to do the most damage in the game.

Fire is good to kite while using as little Mana as possible

It's literally the chinese x-files

Wait is the whole mod available on Steam, or is that only like an add on for it and I have to download the OG from Nexus

Did Trainwiz do this?

I'm not spending points in either armor skill, because I'm only going to wear the most fashionable attire, and so far neither look good. Assassin hood is GOAT, but the rest of the set looks shit.

I need some goddamn glowing thorium ingots to see the next tier of armor. WHERE GET?

What gives grand souls!?

Just got one from the frost troll in the high-lvl mountains

>1 cave = 4 grand sgems
Damn son

Attached: 0Ze7lf7.png (451x126, 70K)

>wore heavy armor for keeper looks
>be an archer
>dry heave after sprinting 30 feet

THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE!

Just got it. Do quests branch or is it pretty straight forward? How long is it overall?

Does wearing heavy armor slow mana regen? And if you enchant heavy armor with mana regen will it be less than if you enchant robes with mana regen?

This massive dick isn't even the main problem, the runes are the real boss there

I was basically pure elementalist last run (got burnt out around the time I was trying to track down top rank spell tombs.) How's the edgy wizard compared to melting everything to death as an elemental? I can't find any information about the actual spells in the game (just the names) and I don't want to put points down if it turns out to suck.

No, but it fucks your stamina bar if you sprint without the heavy armor perk for it.

So pretty much no point in not wearing heavy armor if you enchant even as a pure caster?

Go full Sauron.

Didn't them doing that also kinda fuck everything up?

Why tho?

If don't have the perk, you're gonna get fucked, enemies in this game ar a lot faster than base skyrim, Vatyrs are gonna fuck you up.

Not until Enderal came out.
You saved one half of the continent from a faggot king who hunted mages, and another from basically muslims. Taranor was a pretty cool guy there as well.

It's good but I find it hard to get new spells and books, I'm level 22 and barely 25 in psyonics and entropy with mostly rank 2 spells even though I maxed the tree.

I didn't, mostly because I had a toaster at the time and I had bad suspicions about Skyrim pre-release that ended up confirmed, especially when a friend had played it.
I still have a toaster but it's not as bad now.

I know this is a limitation of this shitty ass fuckin engine, but is there a way to run it at high refreshrate/framerate without the game breaking itself? 165hz monitor 'n shiet

Germans did nothing wrong and everything correct

How far into the game do the forgotten stories addition start showing?
I haven't played the original but I'd like to know what is new and what isn't.

Don't spoil yourself fun m8

Skyrim is a good game

No. But it can be modded to the point of "good enough"

Post-Rhalata Tharael content mod fucking when

Well, good job SureAI, now I have FS ost and Black Walz especially playing on repeat

>get to ark
>don't really like my build
Is it too late to start over

>lycanthropy and vagrant
>get damage boost outside of combat with potions
>get boosted wolf form with chymica
>don't worry about arcane fever because ambrosia is practically free
Such fun is the alchemist

Is sinistrope or elementalist better for being a mage? I was thinking of going dark keeper but I hear heavy armor isn't good on mages

>30fps when approaching first town
This is not a good sign

You have enough points to fill up 3 trees.

There actualy isn't any levelcap, so theoreticaly you could fil up every memory tree, although that would require a lot of grinding.

Do I lose my subclass if I start putting points into a different tree?

Not sure what that means, I just wanted to know if there's a way to tell what is Forgotten Stories.

>NO, HE WAS MY FRIEND

No, there isn't. You won't get a pop-up "THIS IS FORGOTTEN STORIES CONTENT BTW". It's all seamlessly integrated to the base game.

Is there a rule of thumb to tell what level is expected for each quest based on the amount of stars?
Some of the story stuff was *** and prfectly doable while some similar difficulty quests in the powder desert require me to go through shit that's level 30+ while I'm only around the 20.

fucking whore

Is Sinistrope and phasmilism a good mix?

So I'm about to go defreeze the Pyrean. Anyone else think that the mod's story might have slightly been inspired by Mass Effect? Pic related.

No, you but you will be offered to swap subclasses you are eligible for each time you level up.
>slightly

So should I only install the base game first?

Is this a motherfucking Jojo reference?

What? No. Just install the Steam version and play. It's really the "definitive edition" of Enderal.

Holy shit, is the merchant guild's guildmaster voiced by Lee from Walking Dead?

Is there a mod to add the notes to map markers?
I want to remember which dungeons I visited, at the very least.

Nah, you just have to mark them down somewhere externally.

Is there actually any benefit to keeping him alive? Like can you take him out as a companion or whatever. He an hero'd himself in my playthrough

>tfw no painter gf

Does Enderal fix Skyrim's god awful combat? Or does it at the very least provide a solid story and world to make up for Skyrim's flaws?

It doesnt really fix the combat, But the enemies are a bit tougher and and you have to commit more to a build. The story gets a bit up its own ass but the world is full of atmosphere and has way more things to explore and do

Well there are two optional romances.

The story is decently fun, much more engaging than Skyrim's (not that it's a high bar but w/e) and level design is much much better.

How do you imagine they could possibly fix something that is hard coded into the engine?
It's easy to ay fix this and fix that when yo9u have no concept or frame of how a fix would actually look like and how (im)possible such an implementation would be.
And no, buzzwords are no concepts.

>Well there are two optional romances.
why does 90% of rpg's have that?

Because romances fit into story-driven RPG's nicely.

I just started this, how do I stop getting fucked by Highwaymen, wolves and spooky skeletons? I had to run away all the time until I met Jasper. It got especially bad when I tried to be smart by luring some skeletons to some bandits but they ignored each other and worked on my ass. Trying to go for a mage build if that makes a difference.

Stack burning DoT on the enemies while back pedaling with the flame spell or staff.

Or if you want to go entropy, use the damage channeling spell on one hand and drain life on the other. Works well enough.

The rest is positioning and tactical retreats.

Just about to pick up my Keeper equipment as a mage, do you get any enchantment bonuses with the robes or should I just get that aesthetic as fuck plate?
