Can't take a photo of my phone since I only have one.

You really liked the DS, huh?

I also have a blue NDS but it broke in two halfs

How's the n2dsxl? I have a n3ds but I don't like its design, so I was thinking of buying one

I wish the screen was a bit more stable but I like it more than my n3DSXL. I know people tend to prefer weighty handhelds because they conflate weight with quality but I really do find the lighter weight way more comfortable.

edgy.
unlike home consoles, handhelds developed in a positive direction. the 3ds and vita are both top tier.

I have a n3DS and a n2DSxl. I prefer the n3DS, but the large screen on the n2DSxl is nice.

My problem with the n2DSxl is the top screen has a slight wobble. It's not a problem for me now, but it feels like regular usage will break the hinge in a few years. Also, the speakers are on the BACK of the bottom half of the system. Sometimes when I move my fingers, it blocks the sound slightly. Plus the fact that the sound is projecting away from you.

Except the 3DS top screen has a lower resolution than the PSP despite coming out in 2011.

I don’t have them with me so I’ll post a list
Game gear, black model
GBC, yellow
DSi XL red super Mario version
2DS door wedge style
PSP 1000

The PSP is the most recent one I got

Nice. In terms of content, are the Switch and Vita versions of Atelier identical?

Switch is basically Vita with the DLC.
A bit off topic, Vita takes longer to load into this menu, but runs smoothly zooming in and out and changes characters seamlessly. Switch gets into this menu quickly, but zooming is choppy and characters take longer to load.

Got it. How is the DLC anyway? Were you playing the Vita version with a physical cart or digital?

the ds is still their best console since the snes, though.

DLC is just costumes and BGMs. Digital, Official Firmware. CFW runs smoother, but downscales the resolution

absolutely. I liked the GBA a lot too but the DS is amazing. so many good rpg's.

Never had OG DS. How does it feel in hands?

the 3ds might actually be the worst handheld ever made by anyone ever

this might actually be the worst opinion by anyone ever

It's pretty meh in hindsight. It's needlessly bulky, the hinge is very stiff and the screens are small, also the lower screen is so recessed that dust specks inevitably get stuck between the sides of it and the plastic shell.

Now post a pic of Ace Attorney running simultaneously on GBA, DS, 3DS and Switch.

any suggestions you've got? I feel like I've played the bulk of them but always looking for stuff I missed

PSP>DS
Vita>3DS

Silver is the best color for handhelds

Is that the really expensive handheld emulator?

I've done a bit of modding...

The Gameboy has a backlight, bivert and audio amp upgrade

The Advance has a backlit 101 screen in it

Each sp, the 001 and 101 has a headphone jack added

The psp has the umd drive removed and a large battery installed in its place

And the Vita, 2ds, and 3ds xl are all softmodded

I have a hacked 3ds should I bother getting a PSPGO?

Unfortunately they're now dead. The Switch isn't a true handheld and it's unlikely Sony will make another handheld after the Vita's failure.

Shit hinge, bad speakers, guaranteed double TN screens. Lower build quality overall compared to the N3DSXL. Should really be cheaper, it's only $50 less than a new N3DSXL. Yeah it comes with Mario Kart but who cares, you can get every game for free anyway.
It's fine, honestly, I have one, but the N3DSXL is just a better buy overall and you can get a used N3DSXL for cheaper than a N2DSXL.

ah that r4 brings back some serious nostalgia.

I bought the original 2ds for my son. Its surprisingly comfortable to hold.
