Just learn the block timing. Pause when he dashes if you struggle reacting to his attacks.

It doesn't fucking work cos by the time the reflect ends, you're put in recovery which is long enough for his delayed enders to hit you. Especially in his 2nd phase.

I was just in the same place as you like a week ago user. Here's what to do unironically.

Spend like an hour and grind up your form abilities. The sideways Dodge you get from Wisdom form is the most important so you don't insta-die to his orbs. I'd also recommend doing at least Valor and Limit form as well since it'll give you helpful abilities and also raise your level (you want to be as close to 50 as you can)

Then just reflect immediately at the start of the battle you'll get a full combo and then proceed to mash block whenever he is comboing. Whenever he does his AOE orbs, just use the Wisdom form dash around the outside of the ring. Load up on items and try to save limit form for the last lifebar or two. It'll do a big chunk of damage and refill tour health.

Honestly just keep trying. It sucks. But just do this stuff and it'll be fine. The game is really easy after that

Don't get me wrong, you should level up the drive forms, but only while keeping Exp Zero turned on to keep your main level down.
