There have been numerous big releases of Disney games on Nintendo consoles. It should also be mentioned that the devs use existing characters as bases for new characters. Ike was used as a base for Cloud and Zero suit as a base for Bayo. Bowaer Jr has the same base structure as plant with the Koopa car and pot. Put Duck hunt dog on his hind legs and he's shorter than Mario, taller than Ness. The same as "Brave". Change a few features, make a backpack for the bird, out some shorts on the model and boom, Banjo-kazooie model made.

Because this time datafiles have been modified recently with the newest updates. Back in the base-game, there was data for the Plant, but he was really slow as fuck and had really bad data as a fighter. Comes 1.1.0 update and he gets a lot of his characteristics modified to become what he is now, alongside Joker/Jack and Brave. Come 1.2.1 update and both Jack and Brave's data dissapears. Come 2.0.0 update, and Jack now has what seems is an alternate skin for a female version alongside the Mementos stage. I'm just saying, this proved that nothing's writen until we have things officially confirmed.
