Always play the remake, no questions asked.

The remake. Looks better, sounds better, and there are some QoL improvements.

???

This "remake" is a slightly enhanced port, so just go for it.

?

The original.

The remake was completely unnecessary, and I'd even go as far as to say that the original both looks and sounds better. Unless you really want to play the Bowser Jr. side game then go original.

? Wrong
Original is best in this case

what kind of name is that

Original by far. The music is better, the spritework is better and it runs better as well.

Play the remake. Yea Forums will tell you to play the original because of their noatalgia, but the remake improves upon literally every single thing in the game other than a select few music tracks being worse than the originals.

Original, so you can see how unique each game looked before Dream Team homogenized the entire series. Partners in Time gained more respect from me on the grounds that it may not be touched.

The accordion isn't prominent enough in the remake version, ruining the track entirely.

Either is fine.

The original is better in terms of graphics and enemy/sound design, only play the remake if you really want to try the Bowser Jr thing.

Look at those two city slickers in their fancy Italians overalls.

They're the same in all the places that matter (even though what was changed will bother people who liked the original a lot).

For a newcomer, the remake is perfectly fine.

Seriously? Of all the songs that were changed for the worse, you chose THAT one?

I love how DT looks (big fan of 2D characters on 3D environments) but yeah making that the standard was a bad idea. But hey considering the effort they put into those sprites I don't blame them for reusing them and editing them as much as they can.

For Superstar Saga, the original. By far.
I don't know enough about the Bowser's Inside Story remake, but I lost interest due to the art style getting too samey in the 3DS games.
