Modding

Do you mod your games to make them more enjoyable to play? Do you ever write your own mods? Im curious as to how many of you do this.

Nude modders please consider not posting. Will dump a few of my screens for you all

yeah. I won't use drastic overhauls when I first start up the game, but I have no qualms using minor quality of life or visual mods right off the bat. the most I've ever personally done is mess with ck2 modding, and that's just simple text file stuff so it doesn't really count
nothing wrong with nude mods though

thats cool, ive never played ck2. Might check it out sometime

I have, among other things, modded this game on my own to be completely playable with zero HUD-elements, making it insanely more immersive & demanding on the player. If theres anyone lurking here let me know if you want a showcase.

If not I hope you have a good day anons, those were my screens

nice, bump

I don't think anyone in their sane mind has ever played a Bethesda game without modding it first, even Morrowind is a fucking disgrace without mods.

Why didn't he just carry 1 sword that's double sided?

I made some board game mods for tabletop simulator, but that's it

another screen

op do you use ansel?

this

Nice. Whats ansel? No these are all taken ingame while playing

its an ingame screenshot engine thing made by nvidia, if you like taking W3 shots you'll love it. Dunno if you need an nvidia graphics card or if you can just use it on anything with the geforce software

because two double sided swords are better

That image is blurry as fuck so no. You also can't use ansel during cutscenes.

Skyrim is basically unplayable on PC without the unofficial patches and SkyUi.

who was talking about cutscenes?

the pic you asked about is a cutscene

Pretty much this. I struggle to play with mods that add 'stuff' as I feel like I am cheating. I'd never played Morrowind until a few years ago and started with graphic mods right off the bat. I'd never say that graphics are more important than gameplay/story but it can be hard to play a game you've never touched before without them.
