Previously getting out of hitstun mostly meant that you could act, jump and recover, but still with some momentum towards the blast zone, so it took longer to recover. Balloon physics helps cutting all that crap and recover faster where recovery isn't a issue to begin with.

Based, characters shouldn't drift back for free, started in brawl and it doesn't end. 64 is better at this before you go muh melee. Despite this, it's better than 4, 4 is the worst smash gameplaywise. Brawl was floaty but at least you had better movement options.

I main Duckhunt, and FE players almost all follow the same flow chart of tactics where if I hit them with the pigeon, they'll double jump after it to attempt n air, but I always launch the can right after that almost almost hits the trajectory they take, and this usually repeated about 4-5 times till they're already at 110% percent. The most satisfying thing in this game is making FE player kill themselves on purpose to get the round over because I made it that miserable for them. I can only imagine the DSP/LTG teir trash talk on the other end how my character is cheap or something.
