As a big Pokemon fan I was excited for Pokemon Trainer's return and wanted to dedicate myself to learning such a complex character at at least a co-main level, but in the end I'm gravitating harder and harder to my old main Lucas. There's just something about his moveset that clicks with me. Covering your own jump landings with PK Fire, pressuring with nair, recovering from obscene distances after chasing the opponent offstage, getting grabs from far away with tether snake privilege, having a kill throw for every direction, ridiculously powerful smash attacks, the new and improved PK Freeze... there's just too much to love about this character. Like with Pkmn Trainer, I also lack the confidence to really play WiiFit even though he's pretty fun too.
I like Marth in Melee, but not as much in the later games.

I always wanted to play a magic user in Smash, but playing Zelda felt awful in Melee and Brawl. When they finally separated her and Sheik, I was curious to see how she would change. I haven't stopped playing her since they gave her the phantom knight in Sm4sh.

Wii Sports Resort and Tomodachi were games I genuinely loved, so I was really happy to see Miis get in. Even back in Smash 4 where they were banned in For Glory/Fun, I kept using Gunner in Friend Rooms or practiced offline. Finally being able to use them in random matches alongside the insane buffs is in itself a miracle for me.
I wouldn't even mind if their customs got removed and set to 1111, or if they end up with generic faces only like Villager in future installments. I'm just glad they're in.
