Make a quick best games of all time list

using nothing on these ones.

Sonic Chronicles

Vanquish
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne
Dragon Quest V

Red Dead Revolver
>not an fps
>authentic western setting
>multiplayer
>multiple characters useable during the campaign
>can ride animals
>likeable characters
>gripping story
>innovative gameplay
arguably best game in the series, which isn't surprising considering Rockstar didn't come up with it in the first place

I'm actually baffled Nocturne isn't on any of those lists considering how much it gets circlejerked on Yea Forums, and that there was only one Dragon Quest game on any of the lists

Well actually I was wrong, Nocturne it is on the second one. I also find it weird how relatively low RE4 seems to be on these lists compared to its popularity, even completely disappearing from the second one, REmake is also barely present.

Fable II: Platinum Edition (loads of content and adventuring, vastly improved systems over the first game)
Whacked! (unique arena game with fun maps, humor and charm out the ass, and decent gameplay)
Kung Fu Chaos (same as Whacked! except it also had really fun minigames)
Star Wars Battlefront (massive scaled shooting game with multiple classes that filled unique roles so that players can tailor the experience to their preferred gameplay style, lots of fun vehicles including ones that fly and can carry a whole squad, well designed maps, and the core objectives are easy to understand and fun to accomplish)

woops, wrong image

I don't see Dead Rising.

best in the series, would you say?

Darkstalkers 2

Personally I prefer Revenge, more explosions and the ability to ram the trafic going in the same direction as you.

Yugioh World Championship 2006
Stairway to Destined Duel

those are the best Yugioh games of all time with little room for debate, back when Yugioh wasn't overloaded with bullshit mechanics and powercrept to all hell

Unreal Championship II was peak arena shooter

Platinum is in the 2008 list, so axe that
I don't see Pokemon Red Rescue Team though, which is the best Roguelike in existence.
So add that.

PMD1 is one of my all-time favourite games, but it is hardly a roguelike. It's just a dungeon crawler.

Fable is on there, in 2008
as is Fable II

I don't see Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on there.
Dokapon Kingdom
Hell, even Sonic Shuffle, a highly underrated game

Why Red? Isn't Blue the same game but with the ergonomy benefits of a second screen?

it has procedurally generated dungeons with multiple floors
tiles and turn-based combat
an in game map that is an exact copy of the map of the maps all roguelikes use, except here it is not the entire game's graphics
multiple classes
lose all your inventory when you die
stat progression

it's a roguelike

it also has more than one basic attack, including multiple forms of magic
and literally hundreds of different classes
which makes it more advanced than most roguelikes

you don't need the second screen
in fact, it's more convenient to have the map overlaid your view (it's definitely transparent enough for this not to be intrusive) than having to look at it on a separate screen
I also preferred menu navigation in Red than Blue
music also sounded different in Blue than Red because of GBA's soundfonts

Don't know if it's on there but Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku II is the most fun 2D beat-em-up I've ever played, yet it only gets mentioned by Yea Forums in GBA threads.
I also played this hidden gem, Azumanga Daioh Advance, that was a really solid competitive puzzle game. I was hooked on the gameplay for the longest time even before I understood exactly how it worked since it was all in Japanese.

Project M

Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[st]

I'd put Eternal Sonata in at the lower end of the scale.

I can't think of a tactical JRPG better than Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation
all the cutscenes however drag it down, and the game is too scripted
is there anything better?

too many porn threads up right now, I see
whatever

It's kind of a pain to think of a game and having to look over 5 lists of a hundred titles to make sure it's not in there.

Strange way of spelling Unreal Tournament 2004

I feel sorry for people who can't scan and skim
also, if you've seen it talked about on Yea Forums, there's a good chance the game you're thinking of is already on the list
