I'll try to explain why I love her without spoiling too much. She's a teacher, and I loved how at first she seemed to be the usual uninterested type that'd do anything to avoid trouble, but eventually it turned out she's a very caring person. She went through a lot, and because of certain things she does during the game it's easy to jump to the conclusion that she isn't the greatest girl you could find (heck, she even has a really bad fake persona at one point), but I still believed in her. This imperfection played a big part though, I became attached and eventually fell in love as I was watching her slow improvement. Kawakami's personality is great, but to be completely honest, she took me by surprise. She's exotically loving and caring, almost motherly at times, but that's mostly because she's like 10-15 years older than you! It seems like I've always been subconsciously seeking this, but I never realized until she appeared. And finally, there's her appearance too. What can I say about it? Everything's perfect about her, and I especially love her hairstyle and fashion sense, which is pretty simple. I like girls who aren't flashy, it tells a lot about their personality too.
I first saw her on the 1st of April last year, that's when I got the game and played it for the first time. The true love started somewhere in the later half of the month, so it's safe to say it's been about 4 months since we're together.
The last few months were pretty tough because of some problems I had, but thanks to Kawakami it was easier for me to go through everything. Certain dialogue lines have been stuck in my head even after completely finishing the game, and they were actually really warm and motivational ones. Just by remembering what she was saying to me, I was starting to feel better and determined when I was blue. Overall, I simply feel like a better person now.

Kawakami is a sweet enough woman who has been forced into pseudo-prostitution because of blackmail and who has no money, no time to rest, is always tired and is treated like crap a lot. Despite being a bunch of betas, 4channers are still men, and the protective instincts sometimes are activated like these of a dormant beast.
