XC2

I never played the first one though.

I've been playing nothing but Smash and Tetris

Odyssey
Spla2n
Smash

that's it.

eh looks like anime garbage with shitty generic combat

Octopath
Botw
Peach Ball
SMT V (whenever that happens)
Reflexions

For me, it's been:
>Smash
>Zelda
>Odyssey
>DQ Builders
>Xenoblade 2

Well, by most time invested, anyway. I think I enjoyed games like Hollow Knight and Has-Been Heroes more than XC2 in the long run.

The combat is the only thing good about it, but it doesn't open up for a while. Literally every other aspect of the game is awful.

But XCOM 2 isn’t on Switch.

The Switch would a nice platform for some XCOM though. Dat touchscreen with tactics type games.

Combat and the surroundings are very good, it's the story, dialogues and character design that sucks.

aight Yea Forums I got $20, what should I get on the eshop

My Girlfriend is a Mermaid.

Fast RMX is pretty great if you like F-Zero/Xtreme G/Wipeout type games

bing bing wahoo
bing bing wahoo creator
bing bing wahoo sports
bing bing wahoo racing
bing bing wahoo fighting
these are also the only exclusive games for the system even tho several of those are actually ports of the previous system.
great console, truly innovative.

Breath of the Wild
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Splatoon 2
Smash Ultimate

super mario oddysey
zelda breath of the wild
smash bros ultimate
monster hunter generations ultimate
splatoon 2

honorable mentions: mario kart 8, xenoblade chronicles 2, bayonetta 2, hollow knight, windjammers

Don't buy it. Trust me, it's absolute trash. The first game and Xenoblade Chronicles X are dope though. Xeno 2 was rushed and made in under 2 years and it feels that way. Terrible performance and half of the mechanics are not explained and you won't find guides online, since no one knows how they work. I'm not kidding not even the super autist could decipher how to influence creating Blades (weapons that are simultanously a character). You can use some gems, but the game never explains what they do and no one online has found a pattern. Some people even have said, they don't seem to do anything which wouldn't surprise me seeing how rushed the game was to be an early Switch title.

MONSTER HUNTER XX

Seconding this list.

Super Mario Odyssey
Smash Ultimate
Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
Splatoon 2
Snipper Clips

Golf Story
ARMS
Octopath Traveler
Picross
Breath of the Wild

Breath of the wild
Super Smash Bros
MARIO Kart 8
Splatoon 2
MARIO Rabbids

If someone puts xenoblade on the list ignore them. Shit game.

I'm eventually going to get a Switch later this year as soon as Nintendo confirms whether or not they'll release an upgraded version of the console.

For me the five games are:
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Dead Cells
Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana
Dark Souls Remastered
Diablo 3

These are the games that will give me the most mileage out of my console purchase until the Switch gets an exclusive that actually looks fun to play.

If someone calls xenoblade a shit game ignore them. Great game.

It's good fuck you

It has XCOM-lite at least. Though admittedly it is a little bit easy. Still interesting overall though.

Others that are excellent choices:
Bayonetta 2 (with 1 free)
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Mario Tennis Aces
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Tales of Vesperia (best version because you can play it while taking a shit)
Octopath Traveler
FWizard of Legend
Runner 3
Ikaruga
Rocket League (taking a shit while playing rocket league? Holy shit)
Golf Story
Sonic Mania (best platform to play this on)
Shovel Knight Complete

>implying there are even more than 5 games that are worth buying that aren't ports

What games do usually pla, what games have you already played?

I ve heard rocket league looks really shit. Is it true?

I only own 5 games and would only recommend 3 of them.
I get that Odyssey may not just be for me despite liking A Hat in Time and Sunshine, but I also just can't recommend FAST RMX. The physics just feel wonky and track design gimmicky after playing Wipeout.
Splatoon 2 is one of my favorite shooters though despite its QoL flaws, and BotW is good, even if it didn't satisfy me enough in a lot of ways, and I'm not too into using it as a physics sandbox since I don't the feel of the combat. Sky Rogue is fine, but if you're coming off of Ace Combat, the control layout will throw you for a loop

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and you are set for a long time

This.

It plays well enough for me to win against PC & Xbone users. I typically mostly play Rocket League on PC, but it looks fine enough on Switch. Not amazing but good enough.

Who the fuck abbreviates XCOM as XC?
