I was initially somewhat cautiously optimistic about FE being an old fan of it, but based off of presentation, I can tell exactly what direction it continues to drive down, and I'm honestly getting tired of the series to be honest.

We still don't know what happened to Pikmin 4 or what Retro was working on before they got assigned Prime 4. I also think there could be a new 2D Mario since NSMBU was just a port.

None of them? Not even SMB1, 3, or World?
I mean, you can pretty much jump into any Mario game so you should be fine, and NSMBU is one of the better NSMBs, but you should check out the classics at some point.
