I'll be honest, I've been playing on pirate servers for the last year and it hasn't filled the void. Not because the gameplay is bad or anything but because the people I played with back then aren't around. The magic of WoW was literally the friends I made along the way. And nothing is going to bring them back. I love them and don't want them wasting their 30s on this game either.

I love you guys for setting goals and shit, I'm not sure if I can get motivated to play this when it come out.
I'm already kinda burned on my private servers, but I'm excited to do classic with lots of players and make a cool troll mage or dwarf paladin.

It's going to be like being 18 again, except you will know about all the expansions , the joy of TBC followed by the repetitive short dopanine releases of successive launches accompanied with their crushing realization of drip fed content/imbalance/stat creep.The nauseous 2004 graphics for 15+ years only to slog through all that Trial and tribulation and get to the same starting point because all those years were for shit due to blizzard consistently fucking it up on your sub dollars, which in retrospect you would have been better dispensed up your arm on a heroin addiction or hookers for all the mental well being the game has done you. Dont enable blizzard by rewarding the market dominance nostalgia with your hoodwinked wallet.
You can't and should never try to go back, mediv/Khadgar was a mistake.
