The cool thing about that old man's design is that he looks like a typical Indian

Short, big elephant ears etc and I really enjoyed the Buddha statue's attacks. It's a real fucking sbame that he had to die. I wanted to see him in the dark continent and lose to some monster there.

OP > HxH

Lots of shit > HxH

LANDMASTER

Still too powerful, had to kill Meruem with nuke poison lmao

I don't get the ant arc

People say you're meant to see the humans as the villains but Netero and Gon did literally nothing wrong

>Humans as the villains
Fucking what, if they wanted me to see that the author shouldnt have portrayed the majority as bloodthirsty killers

Gon literally smashed an ant who was trying to save an innocent girl into pieces. Netero used an underhanded trick to destroy the king who, at that time, was even offering to live in peace with the humans.

This is correct.

I wouldn't go that far. It has some cool things about it, but mostly it's a mess. Hard to believe it's by the guy that made Yu-Yu Hakusho, but then again, everything after the Dark Tournament.

POPULAR BAD
OBSCURE GOOD

there are no heroes/villains in HxH, This arc just did a better job of showcasing that

the ants literally abducted and ate thousands of people
fuckin white guilt retard i bet u think isis did nothing wrong too huh

>Gon literally smashed an ant who was trying to save an innocent girl into pieces
After said ant murdered his friend.

>Netero used an underhanded trick to destroy the king who, at that time, was even offering to live in peace with the humans.
You mean after said ant said it would kill a majority of humans and put the rest on a farm to be eaten later.

>it's shounen but sometimes really dark things happen!
cool. that's really cool. that's a cool thing you enjoy

actually the ants were the villains and the hunters were the heroes
stop trying to pretend your faggy kids shonen is mature and nuanced

>Homo x Homo
>obscure

He didn't say he'd put humanity on a farm to be eaten. He said that because he respected Netero's strength, he would allow humans to live in an isolated and secluded area.

And then the king's royal guards fed him their love juice and he was miraculously healed, turning Shaiapouf and Youpi into chibi shoulder angels.

What? Meruem told him that he would rule humanity peacefully, as in him being the king and all the humans his servants. Netero offed him because he understood that Meruem was more ant that human and he would never truly understand why humans don't behave like ants do.

Pitou was not defending Komugi just because the king order her to do it, not because she wanted to defend a person weaker than her or because she cares about them, she was just following ant logic as well.

When did I say Hunter x Hunter is obscure? You're the one saying Hunter x Hunter is bad, most likely because lots of people like it and it's popular.
