Yeah, welcome to AR, a mode no one takes seriously anymore. It's amazing how ISIS managed to execute a simply concept so poorly. They limit the amount of dancers you can have in Rival Domains and to an extent GC, but AR is A OK with having two L!Azuras in the opponent's defense team

The sound effect orb01 is colorless, 2 is red, 3 is blue, 4 is green

Only problem is the free session might be like the free seasonal where the colors are randomized so you may get 4 greens in the session anyway

I'm surprised how close I am to reaching T21 this week without using a bonus unit. I'll probably have to use one for my last 4 fights depending on how my next defense goes. Can get by without a bonus unit if I get either -20 or -0, but otherwise I'll have to kick someone out for Fjorm and hope for perfect offenses.

I've had pretty shit luck for defense this week getting all -80s, but with Fjorm I'm getting 140 lift per win assuming no deaths.
However theres been a lot of matches where I've either lost a unit due to dancer bullshit or missed killing an Aether structure or both.
I absolutely need to destroy both Aether structures next match to get a second run tomorrow.

It always cracks me up how bad Yea Forums is at video games, they always complain but their complaints always show they're stuck in the scrub tiers.

No-one uses Horse Cav squads in high rank, you'll sometimes see Rein or a Veronica, but never all three. Surtr is very easily countered and someone who keeps him away from the entire battle has just wasted a unit slot.

Blessings only matter to Whales or hardcore F2Pers trying for 21+ ranks.

Anyone can sit at Rank 20 by just being half decent and still get 90% of the same rewards.

As for "did they improve it?" Yes. They added a skill that hard counters healers and sweep weapons, so you could slap it on a Ranged Green and kill entire Horse setups with one unit. It made the mode a million times more variable.

About the only consistent setup I ever see now is 2 dancers Ophelia, but even that comes with lots of variation and has begun falling out of favour for flying squads.

With even half a working brain you can get to T19.

Then one week of actually putting in some effort to play carefully will get you to T20. And then you'll basically never have to worry about losing that rank ever again, I just play 5x a week for the daily rewards and still get close to the same prize the top ranks take spending an hour+ each map.
