Fuck sotfs

Oh yeah? Well, explain THIS.

>not running by the enemy to the next bonfire and going back to search the area later

learn how to play souls games

Why is it so hard for video games to generate shadows within shadows? Shouldn't you just use multiple light sources with various intensities and distances?

cringe

This. Why do those enemies look like fucking sprites pasted over a pre-rendered background?

Watch this.

this area is the biggest wall in DaS2 and maybe any souls game period
once you get through that the rest of the game is smooth sailing until shrine of amana

What? A game with combat that handles multiple enenys?

If there is no shadows rendering, the enemies pop more. You just dont get it, dude

this area is literally is easier than forest of the fallen giants
you just gotta be smart and dont fight the enemies

Oh hey it's Ralph Pootawn

There was no better feeling that fighting these NPCs, while being invaded, and coming out on top. DS2 felt so damn good.

Because their capes are magically glowing in the dark and again there are no shadows beneath them

**biggest wall in DaS2 if you don't play like a little girl

>shoot arrow from far to aggro one enemy at a time
>they all aggro anyway and chase you to the dragon rider room
>have to pick them apart 1 by 1 from there
>low ADP at that point makes it so you'd prefer to run back and forth between hits instead of dodge
>not even difficult just tedious as fuck for the epic hard videogame meme
what a shit fucking game. im convinced anyone that actually likes ds2 has actual brain damage

there are 3 other paths you can choose if heide's tower is too hard starting out tho

>Run by 6 enemies
>WTF WHY ARE THEY FOLLOWING ME

You are dumb, please never make a game.

the stupid gear scaling system made it somewhat unbearable in some optional fights, aside from that it was okay.

I'm in the same boat
I'm at drangleic castle, took a peek into shulva/dragon's sanctum and everything about this game feels fucking wrong
>bosses are too easy
>way too many enemies, wouldn't be too much of a problem if they didn't have so much poise but a 40 str smelter sword+3 doesn't even stagger anything until they're already 90% dead
>arrows hit way too hard, I'm losing ~15-20% health from one archer's arrow in shulva (with full +6 elite knight armor)
>I can run full elite knight armor, a smelter sword, and a dragon rider greatshield and still do a regular roll
>Longsword outperforming bastard sword and zweihander by a fucking mile despite those scaling better with str

>Instead of making the harder by making the ai smarter they just give the enemies a ludicrous amount of health to the point where its pure tedium and nothing else
Why do game companies do this?

>SOTFS
You have only yourself to blame for playing the retarded version of the game

>he doesn't just run to the wyvern and manipulate the AI to use its tail to push big knights off and stomp on the heide knights

the only people who criticize ds2 are turboshitters grasping at any excuse to cope with their shortcomings

Hope that didn't hit too close to home.
