If you dont like to kill everything in sight with the press of acouple buttons this games not for you. Honestly, play vindictus, its closer to the action you're lookin for. Only play Warframe if you surviving for hours on end with broken setups, end-game is a blast but getting there is blocked by every wall imaginable, the grind is retarded.

I mean honestly the only reason i'm even installing this is because all these 4/10 anthem reviews keep calling this and destiny better games and I have never played a looter shooter before

2 weeks of hardcore grinding 5 hours a day to get to a set up thats reliable
2 months of hardcore grinding to get to set ups that make you broken

A ton of fun, and lots to do if you like games based around parkour, looting, EXTREME customization, weapon and character modding, and horde killing.

I play solo because when I make the mistake of playing with others, they're just so much better than me it's unreal. I end up with like 5% damage dealt and lowest damage received solely due to the fact that enemies never even get a chance to see me.

For me it was when I got my first new weapon, and actually looked into how the game worked and how to improve

Misery and Confusion if you do it alone. Actual fun if you have a clan that can give you free shit.

my best advice is to not look up anything and go through the starchart, you'l be hit with so much shit its overbearing,complete the hand-holding segments and then just gun it in 1 linear direction toward the outer parts of the system

Endless fucking grind and horde mode.Maximizing stats so you can kill trash in milliseconds.It gets quite addicting because the movement is quite good and you always feel overpowered against anything.

weapons are largely superfluous, like 90% of the playerbase metas the same dps frames and farms in the center of the map, only recommend if you run solo or have a friend who also has no idea about the game.

It's not that they're better, they just have max range/efficiency builds from hours of grinding, skill doesn't come into the equation at all.

Those players know the spawn formulas for the maps you're on or they're running a high range nuke build for low level grinding

Grinding and waiting. And by waiting, I'm talking 12 hours to 3 days for a single item to build.

The fact that they can do it at all makes them better than me, because I have no way to do that. Even if they grinded for it longer than I have, it doesn't stop them from being able to outperform me every single time.

It just makes the game very unfun with other players. Why even play when they won't let you play? Solo is way better, though I'd imagine that playing the game as a noob with a team of other noobs would be the most fun.

We don't do that here, it's grind then when you become a meta drone, you try to find alternative builds and when you get tired of that, you bitch about no content then bitch about how the new content sucks.

as a beta tester / grandmaster founder with approximately a thousand hours wasted in this game,
I seriously can't recommend this shit to anyone.
It's simply just not worth it unless you're empty and have nothing to do
Here's a few reasons why:
>grindy as fuck, extremely unfriendly to new players
>have to have 50+ "essential" mods, and that's just the bare minimum in order to enjoy mid to high level difficulty
>a disgusting crafting system that utterly disrespects the players time, occasionally making you wait up to 4+ days to get something you craft
>requires several hundred daily logins until you start getting "decent" rewards
>Literally everything, even the best end game gear, will eventually be obsolete thanks to a massive power creep of new gear
>90% of "bosses" are just man-sized invulnerability gimmick abusing shitheads
>10% of the "better" bosses, are just robots or monsterrs that spam 2 moves while also having somekind of invulnerability gimmick

The only good things about Warframe are class variety and gunplay, both being things that took the devs several years to get creative with
