Five hundred and ninety nine US dollars.
Five hundred and ninety nine US dollars
GIANT
ENEMY
CRAB
RIIIIIDGE RACERRRRR
They could get away with it nowadays.
We know have 2k phones.
C'mon
Those halcyon days when console wars were based off things that were actually happening like $599 or Ridge Racer or Giant Enemy Crab or RROD or wagglan. Now it's just prodding everyone over their fragile masculinity. You don't even want to talk about the games anymore.
And now phones cost 2000 dollars. What a shitty timeline.
60 gb?!?! Who could ever need that much space? I'll buy the 20 gb model like every other sane person will.
We need to go back
>We need to go back
no thanks, I could buy a 4tb hard drive today for less than the difference in price of the 20gb and 60gb PS3's at launch. SSD prices are also finally lowering. The benefit of games fully installing is decreased load times, what's not to like?
Ever wonder what the bottom of an avatar's shoe looks like?
WELL BAM
>One thousand, two hundred and ninety-five dollars and thirty-one cents
What were they thinking?
That Christmas I found one under my parents bed thinking it would be my present. They resold it for 1k and I still only got my present of yearly present of 100$.
Still cheaper than a PS4 with annual PS+ payments.
If I could have bought a PS4 for for $599 once, and then never had to spend anything on PS+ or anything ever, I would have bought a PS4 at launch.
Which was worse, the PS3 unveil or the Xbone unveil.
I'm sure you will all say PS3 regardless.
probably ps3 because of how good the ps2 was. the 360 starting become shit when the kinect was out so you kinda expected the bone to be bad as well.
Console wars kept getting worse and worse even when the differences started becoming less meaningful.
>tfw console wars are now just shitposters spamming le voldemort face edits at each other
Dont forget about:
>[insert console name] has no games!
YOUR FAVORITE VIDEO GAME PLATFORM HAS NO GAMES
(AND BY "NO GAMES" I MEAN "NO EXCLUSIVES")
(EXCEPT FOR SHITTY EXCLUSIVES THAT DON'T COUNT)
Both.
Can't forget the tax. Over 600 bucks for a movie player?! Plus tip of course
This was the birth of blunder culture on Yea Forums.
