which weapon would you choose?
Your ideal FPS

I'm a simple man. I need a good reliable shotgun and a giant fucking last-resort magnum revolver.
This baby.
O B R E Z
The Benelli M4 or the MP5K
bfg9000
I like you
MP5A3, M1911. A couple of Flash bangs, some tear gas and that's all I'll need.
What enemies would you want in your ideal FPS?
kel-tec ksg from black ops 2
say what you want about that game, but the kel-tec and the remington 870 were amazingly-fun fps shotguns
I wish there was a single FPS out there where zero rushing faggots wasn't a viable strategy. Seems like deliberate slow gameplay doesn't exist in the genre.
Glock 19 sidearm
AR-15 carbine
Perpetrators of crime.
Try SWAT 4. COOP and PvP are active and require you to take time.
Arma
Squad

No thanks
Assuming the guys who programmed the guns knew what they were doing
>Meaty pump action shotgun with actual range and good dismemberment
>Any Battle Rifle with a slow cyclical rate and intimidating sound
Beretta M9 and AK-74/12.
FPS lack handgun variety. I want more pistols.
FAL
for me, it's the BR55 battle rifle
>slow cyclical rate
the G3 fires at 600 rpm, which isn't really slow
I personally shot this one is Vegas once, it's crazy how pinpoint accurate it is. If I had to choose 1 rifle to survive an apocalypse or something, I'd be popping heads with this all day.
Mein Neger!
This. Playing Apex, grab Peacekeeper and Wingman.
When i played CSGO I loved the Nova and p2000
>If I had to choose 1 rifle to survive an apocalypse
oops, jammed after a year without proper maintenance.
DIBS
okay but that's basically anything not made on an AK platform
Well that can basically apply to any firearm you take a long with you. Honestly melee would be a lot more efficient, you can easily replace the weapon and I doubt ammo would be lying around just waiting for you to pick it up.

You need to be 18 to post here.
Fucks with me
plays like f.e.a.r with a bit more varies maps and weapons
In a post-apocalypse scenario, I don't know why anyone would go for a rifle over a shotgun.
>shotgun will be more effective than a single target within 75m
>most people can't even shoot straight past 20m
>easier maintenance and plentiful ammo
not really, bolt action should be fine for a long while, handguns with simple locking mechanisms or revolvers will be fine
AK is best for post apoc though, also if we assume human population drops radically there will be enough ammo to arm several millions people for 10 years per country, there is really that much ammo around.
garant m1 rifle
tokarev tt pistol
ppsh 41
why is it so fucking sexy?
If no one showers or cleans themselves during the apocalypse, does everyone just filter the smell so it smells relatively normal?
you do not own one, do you? it's not what you think, try hunting with it then tell us about it
>bullpup cuck
Slugs or buckshot
>t. nogunz yuropoor who has never shot a gun in his life and never will
More compact, less weight, same performance
this bad boy and of course they nerfed it on PC because muh mouse and keyboard aim
Enforcer x2
Ripper
Rocket Launcher
Flak Cannon
Shock Rifle
Sniper Rifle
Minigun
Translocator
Redeemer
All you need baby
Also the pulse gun isn't here because it's a piece of shit
*charging noises*
For me, it's the A1.
why not get an over and under for the best of both worlds?
sig225, various AK platforms, Mosin, Remington 700, SKS, M1
basically, Escape From Tarkov is perfect for my specific gun kinks. just needs a FAL (which i think is planned) and a decent shotgun.
What the fuck is going on here?
short stroke piston is actually inherently less accurate than direct impingement. all guns are more accurate than video games lead you to believe
>top left
Forgot which model but it looks like a magazine-fed Serbu. Has a brace, and the front grip is actually the only way to rack the action
>middle left
Kel-Tek Sub-2000. Pretty okay pistol-caliber carbine. Lightweight and folds.
>middle right
Fugly-ass .22 LR with a 25 round magazine and again, a brace.
Making sure multiple barrels are perfectly aligned and not-welding them is time consuming
>no mp5
SPAS-12

that's racist

nothing personnel, kid
Bigass fucking demons or aliens or some shit. The more varied and outrageous the better. Fighting other humans is so limited and mundane.
this one

user...
my budget ar has had 0 failures after 1500 rounds, and 600-700 were without any cleaning
never had a gun before but these seem so simple to keep and maintain
Something like BLACK for the ps2 mixed with TIme splitters
she's a robot
she doesn't have proportions like that and her body would be hard as metal
stfu faggot
>never had a gun before
It shows
For me, that's a yikes. Pretty faggy if I'm being honest.
is the third shot on the left from top to bottom an automatic shotgun or a single rifle? Because i ain't seeing no pump in that shit.
where did you get this photo of me
It's an auto-5 with the barrel and stock cut down.
It's an Auto-5
Ash's R4-C
thats actually cool as fuck.

So i would go with that, that MATEBA looking revolver and machine gun with the drum
Fists
DeLisle Carbine
My QUIET wife
Leverguns and pump actions are actually pretty complicated and often have fragile parts. Contrary to popular belief, the AR-15s are probably the most reliable and maintainable guns in that pic.
>Picking anything but the peacemaker
Whoa little mac, cool.
Where can i buy this print? /s
What is this? A battle rifle MP5?
The AR is probably the most reliable, don't know about most maintainable. I'm more used to the AK and it's extremely easy to maintain aside from some nooks that are hard to clean but aren't critical either way
>What is this? A battle rifle MP5?

I prefer the johnny 7 one man army myself. I find the bfg just doesn't have that many uses that aren't custom maps.
H&K 32
Obscure 7.62x39 rifle developed from the CETME/G3 rifle
I feel like I'm gonna break this damn thing!
smells like new
you should be more worried about it not to break you with the recoil.
I need more
Did it ever leave the house and needed to be carried out in the open near dirt for everyday of use?
both SPAS-12s, dual wielded, the gold deagle, the FAL, and uhhh fuck it give me the calico
P90. any day of the week.
>them 50 rounders of armor piercing ammo
I wish more games would emphasize on the situational advantages of pistols compared to long weapons more. More often than not there's absolutely no reason to ever use a sidearm in games.
Sexiest shotgun
sawn-off, pump, and AA12 shotguns being triple-wielded at the same time
Should be enough
this is something that is almost impossible to translate to a videogame without it being a detriment to the enjoyability of it outside of maybe VR
Someone post it, you know what I'm talking about.
The noisy cricket produces enough energy to send the user flying back by roughly 20 mph. The energy produced by the weapon in heat would be 2.5 million degrees.

Mateba gang
a good FPS needs good enemies before good weapons
>he doesn't know
>mfw when on exercise with brits and their shitty bullpup service rifles constantly jammed
LMAO. Bullpups are only good in CQC
It has a FAL
>most people can't even shoot straight past 20m
We're assuming you're not a s o i b o i piece of shit though and actually have a masculine hobby or two
A big machinegun. Gatling styled, preferably. Maybe one of those low RoF high damage ones too, but I really like high rate of fire and making my enemies dance.
Freaking zombie demons from outer space
FAL is ingame already.
The only truly reliable shotguns are break action ones and they're not really combat weapons. And of course most survivalists imagine using their guns to fight gubment or other survivalists at some point.
>Britcuck
>Love guns
>Want to own a gun
>Have to jump through a lot of legal hoops, can't keep it on my property and shotguns are not allowed
>A big machinegun. Gatling styled, preferably. Maybe one of those low RoF high damage ones too, but I really like high rate of fire and making my enemies dance.
>mfw picturing a Yea Forums autist trying to threaten someone with a 'big machine' that he can barely lift or control, then getting shot by his 'enemies' pea shoter
A pistol that has infinite ammo which is weak at first but gets stronger / upgrades later on.
I hate having ammo on weapons, doesn't matter what the game is.
The problem is that if I have some good weapons, I try to save them for big fights and then actually never use them because I rather use that trusty sidearm with infinite ammo.
This was painful on a game like Doom where you constantly switch weapons, even when ammo is plenty, I'd rather have just used shotgun and pistol the entire game.
come to america fren
You're on Yea Forums though. IRL I would choose Liberator and shoot myself in the head.
No, actually if I could have any gun I'd maybe choose Webley-Fosbery because the damn thing is just weird. Or G11 and a box of ammo. Or maybe Neopup? So many weird guns.
No way fag outside of owning guns your country is shit. Though by the end of the month so will ours be most likely
custom handguns
>No way fag outside of owning guns your country is shit
rude desu
why do you lie
shotguns are easier to get than rifles in britain
Only if you are a farmer. If you're just some neet faggot who can't show they have a legit reason to own one, you don't get shit.
I don't see how trying to get a rifle instead of a shotgun would change things on that front.
Because you're an idiot. Shotguns are used to clear pests, you don't use a rife for it.
t. Someone with a farmer in the family.
>Shotguns are used to clear pests, you don't use a rife for it.
What's a varmint rifle?
Its cute when Yea Forums pretends to know about guns
>shotgun will be more effective than a single target within 75m
Wrong, especially if the target is behind cover or wearing any sort of armor. Precision and rapid fire far outweigh the benefits of the shotguns power.
>most people can't even shoot straight past 20m
lmao, if you're prepared for a post apoc scenario, hopefully you're going to be able to aim at least semi competently. Also, where did you get the idea that you don't have to aim with a shotgun? If you're not landing most or all of your pellets on target, there's really no point in using it anyways.
>easier maintenance and plentiful ammo
Just wrong, you can carry at least 4x the ammo than you could with a shotgun, 5.56 and 7.62 are fucking cheap as dirt and rifles are far easier to maintain and usually jam much less than shotguns
Sexy, deadly, kinda flash.
Ideal practical loadout FOR SHTF:
9mm glock
>Exceedingly common ammo and parts, reliable, easy to maintain and repair and does the job just as well as any other pistol
AR-15
>Exceedingly common ammo and parts, reliable, easy to maintain and repair and does the job better than any other rifle
10/22
>Exceedingly common and exceedingly light and packable ammo, easy to maintain and repair and does the job just as well as any other 22
Prove me wrong
You're going to take your Heckler and Koch lobbyist trash and you're gonna like it, norfag
>What's a varmint rifle?
Not something used by farmers in the UK.
A slick pistol and a knife
F.E.A.R. But with more enemy and level variety.
my dad has a shotgun and goes clay pigeon shooting with his friends every sunday, so I imagine that's enough of a legit reason. There's still a fair amount of restrictions mind, can't be able to hold more than two shells, needs to locked in a special purpose cabinet when not in use, etc.
I know exactly that feel...
Personally, I prefer a sniper rifles when possible
