I had something similar in mind, the T tetrimino would be the best choice as the default form, a fighter that changes their entire shape and colour for their attacks would be pretty unique (pokemon trainer doesn't count because he's 3 different entities, not one)

I imagine it being really alien, it floats, and it's attack animations aren't even really animations so much as it's flashing colors when it materializes or transforms into new blocks or combinations of blocks. A Down Smash would be turning into a long I block horizontally for example
